Snapper Fish and Chicken — Restaurant in Pensacola

First of all I bought a whole red snapper for 20.99 with a side of fries and corn nuggets( mind you the sign says 20.99 for whole snapper with any two sides) my total was 26.00. I go back to the window 2 mins later to order whole snapper for my dad with corn nuggets and okra. The lady working then proceeds to tell my dad his total which is the same order as mines total 36.00 . I asked her why is his total different and she says it’s because he got 2 sides . Says the whole snapper comes with fries. So you can’t have any two sides like the menu claims which is false advertising. Then the cook comes to the front and tried to tell me I’m wrong and that it’s not false advertising. I then asked to speak with the owner and the cook said he’s from Yemen he’s not here. So whoever the business owner is needs to investigate the bad business and customer service his employees give. There’s no way I should be overcharged for sides that clearly says on menu is included in the price. Plus the food is flavorless and I see why nobody was there but the people that work there on Friday evening. I’ll give this business a -100 stars and 100,000 lashings for the experience. Friendly guy working but the food was lacking in every aspect. Got the whole snapper, fries, hush puppies for $26. First the fish had more bones and breading than meat. It was barely “keeper” size if you were to catch one yourself. For $26 I was expecting something with more meat than a bird’s wing. What meat I could get off of it was cooked on the surface of the sun. Had a real fishy smell, was overcooked to the point of literally being rubber. I couldn’t get a fork to pull it apart, lacked any flavor/seasoning and even if there was, the dried rubber fish distracted from it. Next the hush puppies, probably fried in the same oil as every thing else because the outside was crispier than heavily starched jeans, and the inside was doughy. They were probably the only thing that had some decent seasoning. The fries, well you can’t really mess them up. If the tartar sauce is made in house, it was pretty good. If their name is Snapper, they definitely don’t come through with their snappers. Overall not worth the $26. I’d rather have fish tacos from Taco Bell than eat the Snapper from...

I ordered DoorDash tonight for two of the 15 pc shrimp meals and the crab cakes. Only received one order. No big deal, I’ll call and see what we can do. As the guy answers and I tell him I just ordered a DoorDash and I’m missing an order, he starts off getting loud telling me how he’s by himself what the hell do I want him to do about it AND THEN accused me of lying about what I paid for, so I offered to send screenshots of my DoorDash order if he could provide something to send it to, and proceeded to just be really rude. So I hung up and went through DoorDash and did the refund that way. It’s unfortunate as I’ve ordered from there several times without issue. And I do understand mistakes happen. But the way in which he was speaking to me I will never do business there again. Whoever you have as your employees, might want to re-evaluate their customer...
