OMG the lady that was working forgive me I don't remember her name. But she is the soft spoken white lady. She sure makes that place. She was such a joy to talk too. I ordered my food to go while waiting for my food we talked while she wiped stuff down. She made me feel like I was important as she did I'm every one else that came in. I then sat down and I kept her talking the entire time she never stopped working. And was still able to be compassionate with what I was going through with a new illness I'm trying to adjust to. It's even making me emotional thinking about the such powerful positive advice she gave me. I feel embarrassed to go anywhere infact I usually only go to places that have drive throughs. My illness affects my ability to walk. She never pried just seen my struggles I'm sure and said here I got it. She helped me with everything I needed without asking. You have to understand I'm a woman that hates to ask for anything. I was able to work out everyday. So going from that to not being able to walk very well And confidence is a really big deal. I wish there were more people like her. Now I am aware that unfortunately she probably makes minimum wage and still does her job very well and with pride. I'm sure that the owner of that place is not aware of the value they have in her. She is a perfect person to have undercover boss to come in to see the pride she has in THEIR BUSINESS. It's really sad that so often people with money down grade people that don't make a lot of money. They are often rude and obnoxious. I know this because I used to clean business. Please please stop and say Hi to her. Feel free to let her know the lady that doesn't walk well and has terrible balance said hi and I will never forget her. To give you an idea of how I walk I feel like I am always walking in the haunted shack at Knotts Berry farm. BTW the place was super clean and the food was great too.
For someone who used to clean businesses and can say it was clean, then...
Read moreEvery time I'd come into town, this Alberto's would be my go to spot, I grew up with Alberto's and Lolita's down in San Diego.. This time, I ordered a California burrito and some rolled tacos with guacamole. The burrito tasted nothing like I was used to having, the meat was over seasoned, was more like shredded beef with some boiled meat (NOT CARNE ASADA)... Too much cheese and NO Pico/sour creme like the OG California burrito should have. The rolled tacos were soggy, only a little crispy on the ends, the melted cheese was too overbearing and the runny guacamole was too bland.. This used to be my go to spot when I'd be in town, I don't think I'll be back. The cashier was friendly, place...
Read moreI ordered the mini tacos special and it came with a side of beans and rice. When I recieved my tacos there was Asada, Tomato, Guacamole, and barely any Onion and Cilantro. Only about 1 leaf or a couple extremely small pieces. I went up and asked for some Cilantro ans Onion for my tacos and she said I have to charge you sides for each. I mentioned that there is like none on the tacos barely even a full leaf and she said it is mixed in. I should not have to pay for what should already come on my tacos when I order it. I paid $8.00 for this and expect to have what comes on it. I will be sure to not come back anymore and go somewhere where I can actually get what I paid for and...
