Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Perry Township

I had a terrible experience ordering pizza tonight over the phone for carry out from the Shoemakersville store. I clipped two coupons from the circular that came in the mail and when I ordered the pizza, I wasn’t told that it be a problem to use both coupons on the two separate pizzas that I ordered. When I got to the store I was told by the manager that I’m not allowed to “stack coupons “ she blamed the “new guy” for allowing the coupons and not explaining to me over the phone. She then would not honor both only one coupon. I told her that I never heard of that, that you can only use one coupon per order. It doesn’t say anywhere in the circular that you can only use one coupon. She took then told me that “no place will allow you to use more than one coupon like McDonald’s, etc.” She said “I’ve been working here three years we never allow that.” I’ve worked in restaurants over 10 years and I know that’s not true, plenty of places allow you to use multiple coupons as long as they are on separate items. All she wanted to do is argue and talk to me with a terrible attitude like I was trying to pull some scam or something rather than politely apologizing. She does not deserve to be running a restaurant if that’s how she treats customers. I also observed her yelling at her employees in a very unprofessional manner. This review is about the value. We ordered for the first time in a long time from domino’s. Maybe a decade. I’m a transplant from Philadelphia and good to great pizza was everywhere. And because of this competition pizza was coming in at a price of low $8 a pie to a highest of the high $14 a pie. Unfortunately good pizza is hard to find if not impossible to find in this area. So Dominos got our attention. On special was the Brooklyn pie for $13 all in. Regular price close to $20. Ordering from the app was easy, service was fast and friendly. And the pizza to our surprise good. My son drove, went inside and picked up the pizza after returning to car handed me the box. Without exaggeration I thought he handed me an empty pizza box. I have been to Brooklyn on several occasions and yes their pizza is thin but wow. If our ENTIRE pizza weighted a pound I would be shocked. So......my point. After ordering food, check to see how it was going on the app. Have been an hour and they had it still in prep. When I called they told me they were doing walking orders before making delivery orders. When I asked why they said because their walking customers were a priority. When I asked when I was going to get my food they said once they had finished all walking orders. When I asked if walking orders were placed in front of my order that I ordered an hour ago they told me yes. I told them to cancel my order and decided I would never order Domino's pizza in my life. Instead I ordered from a small mom and pop pizza shop near me. Food delicious delivered on time. big Box retail screws you in the end especially this Domino's store. Never...
