Howell's Ice Cream King — Restaurant in Perry Township

We were just there this evening, first time this year (we normally go a few times throughout the summer since we live close),we only stopped for ice cream and my kids orders were placed, we asked what was on something and replied with “oh ok, I don’t like bananas” and proceeded to order a fudge sundae with extra fudge. Paid and waited for our ice cream and first thing she goes to hand out was the item we asked what was on it. I replied with “no we didn’t order that” and she took it back, a few minutes later she hands out the exact same cup after she went and dug through it(we figured she did by the looks of it but the hidden banana pieces she missed was a dead give away). I had already paid double the item I actually ordered for the item she charged me for, and didn’t say a word, all I expected was my actual item, but nope instead got food someone dug around in. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I had mentioned I didn’t order that the girl closed the window and flung her arms in the air like it was my fault she didn’t listen. Howell's Ice Cream King seems to have a line all day long. I visited on a weekday in the middle of the afternoon and there was still a line the whole time. A good business person knows that people are willing to wait for good food, service, and\or price. The service was friendly, fast, and the prices were fair. A cool refreshment on a hot day was just what we needed. The ice cream was very enjoyable. I was even lucky enough to visit on a day they had a blue dinosaur dancing out front, fun. Yummy everything, was very pleased with cheeseburger, through the garden, nice sized. FF's were good, n large was REALLY Large😀. Ice Cream was delicious, i love soft serve, and I had a Grape Twist! Yummmm. My 2 pups liked their split vanilla baby cone in dishes, too. Very friendly people, and good prices, i thought. 😊 I will return, when I'm out there...
