We were pretty excited to finally get down to Perry and try Amiciās. After living in the Chicagoland area for over 53 years, I moved to middle GA. Let me tell you, the struggle is real when it comes to finding good Italian food and pizza. Our hopes were pretty high!
Overall, it was a positive experience. Our server, Sam, was very welcoming and attentive. Orders were taken quickly and drinks came out fairly fast as well. This place has a nice vibe, is very clean and we felt comfortable here. We got here a little before the dinner rush and had no problem getting seated quickly. By the time we left, the place was really busy. We ate inside, but there was also a nice patio area.
I had the chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. The chicken part was pretty good, but I did not really care for the sauce and the spaghetti was mushy or overcooked. I personally thought the sauce was really sweet and I prefer something a little more savory. The dish also came with some bread. I was kind of expecting some type of Italian bread, but it was more like pita bread.
We also got some boneless wings that were supposed to be XX-Hot. They had absolutely no heat to them at all, but they were still tender, tasty and well cooked. My father got a margherita pizza. He said it was just ok. Out of fairness, we are pizza snobs. My wife had the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and she enjoyed it very much. I canāt remember what my son had, but I remember him liking whatever it was he got.
My in-laws had brought me a āThe Worksā calzone one day. It was actually pretty good and thatās what prompted us to go visit this restaurant in person.
Overall, this is a nice place to take your family and friends in Perry. The area needs a lot more places like this so we can get away from the same old boring chain...

I'm hope they didn't look and see a mother with 4 and think tax money but i gave my work pay card. I've been a victim of this before during tax time and I'm not rich enough to leave a 40 dollar tip to anyone. The food was good, the service was just ok but if a 20+% hold is normal then that should be told upfront. Garlic knots 11 3 Drinks 3.50 a piece Spaghetti w marinara and drink (kids)7 Double stack cheese burger 13 12 wings 18 Small pizza 17 Ontop of this its my birthday weekend, i lost my cat today, and rescued a dog that was shot in the head that had to be put down. I took my kids out to cheer us all up. Thanks Amici this was really the icing on the cake *UPDATE: UPDATE: Spoke to a manager by the name of Skyler and she was very pleasant. She agreed that the charge seemed a bit funny and the amount held was an odd number but did check the system on her end. She remembered me and my family and assured me that if it is not resolved by my bank soon that she will definitely correct the issue with no problem. Great customer service goes an amazingly long way. She even empathized with us about our day yesterday overall and wished us a better day today as well. If this is an institutional hold issue, then depending on the card you use you could very well be debited more than your meal is at...
Ā Ā Ā Read morefirst time visit to an Amici. first thing I noticed outside was the handicapped parking is so far away from the front door. first thing I noticed inside was how loud it was. if you or a member of your party is triggered by constant loud volume of talking, be warned. the curling is high and the tables are close together and there's no separation between tables. the waitress, Shay was super Friendly and very prompt and very good. the food... one meal was the chicken cheese steak but it came out with mushrooms, even after it was expressed during ordering to have no mushrooms. the other meal was a chicken Parm sub. I asked for the ricotta to be very thin and to have the roll toasted. they did it as asked. the one thing about the chicken Parm sub was the meat to bun ratio was really generous. however I thought it was very salty. for desert was the fried dough which came with a chocolate, a Carmel and a raspberry fruity dip. mixing it with the confectionary sugar, the whipped cream and the liquid topping was so delightful. for appetizer were cheese sticks with marinara. 5 came in a serving. they were good although intend to not like spending $2 a cheese stick normally. overall it was very good experience . the noise and the saltiness were the two things I wish...
