East End Double Dip — Restaurant in Peru

Have always loved coming here. Tonight me and the little ordered a 1 topping half pepperoni half sausage with extra sauce and a side of Cheese Bread. Friendly staff and great food. And now accepting Debit and Credit Cards! Will be a change for all. It has always been a cash only place. Tonight I scraped up the last $2.80 in change so we could add the bread. Went on and gave him the change. Saw the big ole antique cash register was gone and new tablets in place. It will be missed in the Pizza Parlor for sure.

We moved to AL in 2017 and moved back to Peru in 2021. Each fall I would order up 10 take and bakes in October to take back to last the winter. This and our hot dog stand were the only two places we missed while we were away! 50 years in business this year! Keep up the awesome work and food! Always worth the drive...

I hadn't been to East End for several years, so I anticipated what I'd remembered. I got a sundae but had to pay an extra $1.00 to get hands dipped ice cream. I had chocolate and marshmallow toppings on the ice cream. The chocolate appeared to be watered down, very thin and runny with little flavor. The marshmallow was almost non-existent. Also, there was not enough toppings on the sundae to go with the ice cream. The last one- third of the sundae was just ice cream. What a disappointment! I would no longer...

Wow! This is what every neighborhood corner ice cream shop should strive to be like! First off, the ice cream! I had a Blueberry Cheesecake in a waffle cone. It did not disappoint. My niece had the "Superman", and it must be pretty good because I heard several others order it too. I'll have to try that next time.
