Nori Japan – Great Sushi & Friendly Service in Peru, Indiana
I recently visited Nori Japan in Peru, Indiana, and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is clean, casual, and welcoming—perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed meal.
The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I tried a few of their rolls, and each one had a nice balance of taste and texture. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous for the price. Whether you’re a sushi regular or just trying it for the first time, they have something for everyone on the menu.
What really made the visit special was the friendly service. The staff were attentive, polite, and made sure everything was just right. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and gave helpful suggestions. It’s clear they care about their customers and take pride in what they serve.
I truly enjoyed my visit to Nori Japan and will definitely be coming back. It’s a great little spot for sushi lovers in the area and a refreshing change of pace if you're craving something different. Highly recommended for good food and great service right in the...
Read moreI was so excited to visit Nori, especially after reading the reviews.i am gluten free by necessity. Their website depicted spring rolls as they should be...stuffed with copious amount of vegetables and wrapped in a rice wrapper. What I received was a tiny little roll( smaller than the roller food in gas stations) breaded and deep fried. Could not eat. I got combination fried rice..the shrimp are so tiny and very tough(obviously old) beef and chicken both very tough.very little flavor...quite frankly, I am surprised at the high ratings. Also, I would like to direct you to the picture of the spring rolls that they advertise...they deliver nothing close.. also, I see the same cars in the driveway...day after day..seriously, do they eat this ever day?.Aso I just read a review on Yelp from somebody who said that if you can consider this good Asian, has, never had good Asian.i am convinced that those reviews are not genuine...Seriously, continue eating at the OTHER gross Asian in Peru. Nori will not be in business for long. Nori is...
Read moreExcellent customer service; employees are very friendly and welcoming. The interior of the building has great atmosphere, from the decor to the music playing it feels like you're transported right inside an eating establishment in Japan. Very cozy, warm and feels like it could be a home away from home. Food was prepared and packaged up quickly, much sooner than expected - and a lot of care is taken into the presentation even for to-go orders.
Ordered the pink lady roll; which comes full of spicy tuna & avocado, topped with spicy mayo and masago (fish roe), shaped like a heart and wrapped in thin slices of more tuna. Very filling. Perfect combination of savory, salty and sweet flavors with a slight spicy kick.
Highly recommend trying out Gekkeikan sake and plum wine. Inexpensive, very sweet and great tasting alcoholic beverages that pair well with most food on the menu.
Tip your chef and server for excellent food...
