One waitress took order and brought drinks and then disappeared..we saw food sit on ledge for 5 minutes before another waitress brought food to us..room temperature everything..plus ordered bacon well done...came out chewy...it was 4:00...not busy at all..also small sodas are like a child's cup. Management needs to crack whip...Revision...waited a year to come back and here is my review for second visit.. Ordered cheeseburger hoagie..cheeseburger with the works...onion rings...large chips.. and small coke. First complaint is they charged 15 cents for 2 pickle slices and 20 cents for a small slice of tomato? Who does that? The bacon was ordered well done however came out stringy on the ends... Ok...looking past that the chips that I got were were literally not fried long enough...more like boiled potatoes slices...how can the cook and the server not notice this? They forgot the onions on the burger, my cheeseburger sub roll was changed which was a big dissapointment...not soft like the original style. The onion rings were the cheap processed kind...cost $2.50 and there was only 5. To top off the dinner the small coke I got which was $1.50 is still the childs cup!!!!! I realize they are the only game in town but they seriously need to work on consistency. This place has been in buisness since I was a kid...I am sure the owner has done well as this place is a little gold mine however he needs to wake up and get this serious about...
Read more!NOT JUST ANOTHER REVIEW! The good old home town feel of this, takes you back in time. With great food, friendly staff and kind patrons at your sides. You can't beat the fell good sensation you get of eating a burger or just enjoy a cold desert after a hot day of play at the Gap or just a Sunday dinner ritual.
They are a bit understaffed and the kitch probably could make a few modern-day changes to be more efficient to help the staff. But the wait for you grub in this atmosphere is just to good to worry about. There bathrooms are a bit dated and small could use some more poo-rooms but.. I also understand the facts behind recent events and how lucky the area is to have this place still, so maybe just a hint to the new owners. This is the only reason I've taken off a star, the staff are hard at work and I understand this. Good luck ! BTW
So I recommend 👌 the Milky Way Restaurant as a must a stop and relax destination with 5 stars 🌟.
I will revisit and re-review in a few months, I'll be watching and hopefully.

Read moreThis place has frozen supermarket food. Its the kind of food you would expect to get at a little league baseball game only here you pay more for it. Found a mystery object in my milkshake also. Slushies are just sugar water that tastes weird. Service is erratic and you will find most tables are dirty. I guess that is what happens when you expect small town folk to clean up after themselves. And to make it worse, they have taken 0 precautions during the pandemic. No masks enforced with customers. Their front staff barely wear the mask over their mouth and kitchen staff doesn’t appear to be wearing them at all. 100% capacity with no partitions/ plexi glass that other places are using. Trash is full so you have to touch everything to do your job in cleaning up after yourself. No hand sanitizer of any kind....
