I wouldn't even give this place 1 star, but that's not an option. This was my first visit and it will be my last! I ordered the food in the drive thru. I clearly said I want two single burgers, a footlong chili dog, two mountain dews, and an order of fries. E get to the window and what we got wasn't the full order. The order the lady heard was 1 single burger, 1 mtn dew, 1 order of fries, and one footlong chili dog. Now, this is where everything went wrong. The lady that took our money wasn't the problem. My boyfriend asked where the other burger was, she said you only ordered one. Look at the ticket. Okay so we saw that they didn't get our full order. So we, what I thought, paid for another burger, but it was the 2nd drink we paid for. Okay, my mistake. However, instead of the 2nd lady explaining what happened, and she clearly knew nothing about what was going on she wants to keep talking about nothing. I wasn't born to have the ability to listen to two people at the same time. I'm trying to listen to my boyfriend and she still talking. So me, out of a natural response, put my hand up to her so I can hear my boyfriend. She didn't like that so she says, "don't put your hand up at me ma'am, and closes the drive thru window on me! Very, very rude to me! If I knew who to contact I would definitely ask for my money back! Oh, and my footlong wasn't that good either. The lady that I had the altercation with needs to learn good customer service and know what the hell is going on before she butts into a...
Read moreService wasn't friendly. Food was just ok, although the onion rings WERE good. The burgers were blah. Nothing to rave about. The man who cooked my onion rings had just been outside in the parking lot smoking; didn't notice if he was wearing gloves when he was cooking my food though. As far as atmopshere it was a big location with an inviting seating area, but felt like we were just 'put up with'. We had been going to eat there but decided to leave and eat at home. Luckily we don't live far from the place. Not a very pleasant experience whatsoever. It wasn't cheap either. Won't be returning to this place. There are too many other places to choose from that are much better & treat you as a valued customer when you spend your hard-earned money at their establishment. The other location of What-A-Burger in N. Chesterfield isn't a whole lot better in my opinion. Same quality food and same 'could-care-less-that-you're here' attitude. The ONLY difference is that you can see them cooking your food at the location we went to here as...
Read moreThis was my first time eating at this place which is funny because I was raised in Petersburg and even though this restaurant has been in Petersburg for decades, for whatever reason, I just never ate there until today. The burgers are absolutely out of this world. They taste like they were cooked out on the backyard grill. I mean the burger will give places like Burger King, Wendy's, and McDonald's a run for their money. The fries were nice and hot with just the right seasoning. They also have free refills on all their soft drinks. Although I didn't try their salads, the salads that they do sell are so large and full of so much meat and other toppings that it felt like it weighed dawn near (3) pounds when I picked it up to look at the container the...
