Thornton’s BBQ — Restaurant in Phenix City

In all the times I've been going to Thorton's for the past 2, maybe 3 years , I have no complaints about the food. I always order a slab of their ribs for my family or when I have a craving for them. Reminds me of our ribs back home, especially when they just season it and don't add anything else on it. It does come with the sauce, but we like them just the way they are. I would either have my husband or grandsons cook rice on our rice cooker before I get home with the ribs because that's how we enjoy eating them. Lately, I've been ordering just a half slab because now the family is either not there to enjoy it with us, or they just don't want any. But guess what? On the times I've ordered half slab of ribs, they want to eat ribs. I told them if there's any left. This is my opinion of how I love😋 their ribs, and I'm sticking to it.😊 The young, I think her name is Jackie (hope I got her bame right), who takes my order knows me when I call to place my order. You Guys this food is amazing...and the prices are fantastic. The ribs were tender and not overly spiced the BBQ sauce I received was vinegar based with a hint of sweetness not sure if there are other options baked beans did have meat and was good and the potato salad was on point...not leaving the neighbors for ribs or firing up the grill thanks to Thornton's...Highly Recommend this...
