Where Should I Start… Let’s Start With The Stewed Beef W/ White Rice. The Beef Was Tender, Tasted Good But It Wasn’t Fresh. The Food Tasted Like It Was Made The Other Day Or The Other Other Day Before. The White Rice Was Severely Overcooked. The Mac & Cheese Tasted Like It Has Sugar In It. Which Is In Fact A CRIME. SUGAR In Baked Mac & Cheese!!!🤯The Cabbage Was Cool. Now Let’s Talk About The Rice & Beans W/ Jerk Chicken. The Rice Barely Had Any Beans. The Jerk Chicken Was Dry & Tasted Old. Now They Do Pack Your Plate Out, But WTH Wants A Platter Full Of Soggy Old Rice. I Would Review The Plantains, But They Failed To Fulfill My Entire Order. I Was Gonna Call Them, But My Guest Said Leave It Alone. In Conclusion The Food Isn’t Nasty It’s Just Not Fresh, Which Is The Main Reason For My Not So Favorable Review. I Believe Y’all Can Do Better & Maybe In The Future Y’all Will.

Ordered through DoorDash for pickup. Got the oxtails with double mac, came with rice and peas as well. Price and portion was great and my son tore this plate up. The platters come with rice and peas and a choice of two sides. The oxtails were nice and meaty, gravy was good just a liiiiitle oily but still had good flavor, and the mac & cheese was good too. I’m always willing to endure a lil attitude for some good Jamaican and/or Trini food (iykyk) because it’s completely worth it lol but the service here was good too which was nice. I always saw this place when I’d order Uber eats and DoorDash, but wasn’t sure even where it was…. now I know the spot 😉

I had to change my review from a 5 to a 1 star. The very first time I had it, the food was fresh. Fast forward 2 weeks later, and everything except the yams tasted old. I live 50 mins away, and we do not have great ethic food in my area, so I had to give Door Dash a hefty tip to pick this up only to be disappointed the second time then again a 3rd time and it was stale again. I tried giving them a chance, but unfortunately, in this economy, I can't afford to waste my money. (70.00 each time because I ordered extra sides.)
