I love this place and come here often! The food is amazing. Although there are lots of good African restaurants in this area this one stands out because of the exceptional food. Everything is delicious. My favorites are the togboghee and the fufu & pepper soup. I love that they really make the food spicy. The owner is such a nice lady also. The decor is nothing special but it’s cozy & you can bring your own wine. Definitely check it out if you love African food.

I would have given them five stars. If the pieces of meat they gave me was not full of bone. I literally got two big pieces of bone no meat. The potato greens were good. Just wish I had some meat. Not to mention the bone took up half the container.

I’ve been coming here for yearsss, they use to be so good, fresh & reasonable far as price, now the food goes bad very fast. The dry rice It has a foul smell after I put it in my fridge & warm it up the next day. & the vegetables have a foul smell as well, & unfortunately I put it in my fridge soon as I got home from picking it up, so it wasn’t out long from the time I’ve got it, I also got plantains they were fine taste as if I just bought them & I’ve had this issue other times before, I’m not sure if they are selling day old rice & vegetables, but this isn’t good as it has made my relatives sick, & also they went up on the red snapper & dry rice it’s now $25 a platter, but I don’t understand why or how if the rice is only $6, so they are selling one Red Snapper for $19?? That’s diabolical!! If I didn’t have a long time relationship with this restaurant, they would get 1 star, however I figured maybe if they get a warning they will stop selling bad rice & vegetables, that’s possibly days old , & be a little more reasonable for the price of one...

The quantity of the food is alot however the service sucked. When a person open up a restaurant you have to know how to deal with new customers especially American. The last visit the person preparing the food was rude and inpatient. The guy working the counter and the owner realized what the lady said and was very sorry how me and my friend was being treated and gave us a free water. The lady behind the counter need to know how to treat people and not tell another employee that we need to hurry up to order. We took our time because it was only our second time there and wanted to explore or taste bud and enjoy a good meal. I think she can use customer service and need more organization. You never know who you can be in contact with no matter where...

I recently purchased the fish and rice platter for $12 on 8/31/22 at 5:05pm …I should of never came here the fish was old and rotten.. what they attempted to do was cook the old fish but the smell of the rottenness was still attached to it the oil of the fish was on my rice! I didn’t notice till getting to my work parking lot! I will never go here again! What is disappointing is that a new customer was in there and she didn’t know what to order I told her because the staff running shop didn’t know full English! My gut instinct told me to drive down woodlyn for the better shop! The lady on the phone had no gloves and was coughing in her hands literally! I’m currently gonna contact food and safety because as a paying customer I DID NOT PAY for...
