Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Very Bizarre experience, if you ever saw the soup nazi episode on seinfeld, pretty much my experience. They got the order wrong, we called, a woman argued, rather aggressively, that they did not get it wrong and demanded we come back and pay $2 more for the right order. It was mother's day, and my mother wanted her steamed vegetables, so we went back (I couldn't even pronounce the dish they gave us by mistake). Upon arrival she demanded back the food they gave us by mistake because it was their/good food? I hope it is not their practice to reuse returns but they did not otherwise reassure us that they do not. SO, she stood there, arms crossed, and said "NO, NO food for you then." After a while even her young children attempted to reason with her. Needless to say, though mildly amusing, I will not be returning for another possible standoff over steamed vegetables. There are plenty of other chinese places and I am sure they are accustomed to doing a simple correction when they make a mistake. If you want to try this place, you better go quick, they won't be in business for long....just make sure you order...

BEWARE! Online order form could potentially be unsafe to use with Credit Card information!! Pay Cash!

So the food was fine. Service was fine. I got delivery and I just want to warn anyone who does because attached to the receipt was a print out of my full credit card number, expiration date, and cvv code just stapled onto the receipt...So. Yea. If this is their normal practice then that is a serious security vulnerability for private customer information.

I ordered online and I couldn't find who's software they were using for online ordering easily, but my best guess as to why there is a print out of all of my card information is that they don't use a payment gateway online but instead just POST over the credit card form to their business and then print out the information to type into their in store system? Lets hope that's not the case because that would be wildly insecure...Yea, I won't be ordering from these guys again unless I have cash haha. Just be warned. I would've dug further into this but what's done is done...

I've spent a lot of money at Hong Kong Chinese over the last 5 years. I ordered from here not too long ago spending $40 and the food was cold and nasty. I had to throw it all way and I only live 3 blocks away from Hong Kong Chinese, so honestly its no excuse. Shortly after receiving my food I called and told them about my experience and the lady said she's willing to give me a discount next time I ordered. When I order my food maybe a week later spending also $40 again she took off $2. I will never order from this...
