Bertha's Restaurant "El sabor de los Mochis" — Restaurant in Phoenix

My recommendation. Dont eat there if you dont speak fluent Spanish or at least look Hispanic. At first all was ok. I was seated right in front of the register. But when i tried to order 2 hard tacos (carne asada and fish) and a side of rice but the waitress didnt understand me. So another patron came over to help. The other patron explained to me they only do hard tacos for shredded or ground beef and chicken. So the waitress went away but didnt come back for a while. I then told her I would take tacos as soft tacos and wantes a Fanta. She told me they didnt have it. Like she never heard of Fanta before. But the sign out front said they just added that to their menu. The owner came over and I took him outside and pointed to the sign. All of a sudden the waitress now knew what I wanted. When I went in, there werent many patrons. Each time the food came out for those eating at the resaurant they came out on platters. People who came in well after me got thier food before me. When my food arrived it came on a small plate with only 1 taco on it instead of a platter with my whole order on it. It was supposed to be a fish taco but it looked like chopped pork of some kind. I have eaten a lot of fish tacos and have never seen one like this. Even the patron who attempted to help said it dont look like a fish taco. It took forever to get the rest of my order. By the time I got it on 2 separste small plates after watching them sit in the window with the heat lamp for several minutes, my first taco was cold and my soda was finished. I felt that i was purposefully being neglected and bullied by small slights. There were 2 other people behind the counter looking at their phone and ignoring the orders piling ip at the window. As if they were trying to make me want to leave. Overall, I dont recommend this family style resturant. The food was just ok. My non fish taco was ok, it just wasnt what i ordered. After what seemed hours of waiting on my food it arrives with extra sour cream which was something I specifically asked not to include on my sopes. 20 more minutes pass and they bring my order correct, the only problem was that the sopes had melted cheese on the bottom, in my 30 years of being Mexican I’ve never had sopes like that. Had to scrape off the meat and just eat it plain.. I could see my food waiting to be picked up while 4 waitresses were just sitting counting money at a table, for the time, flavor and lack of customer service the price is not worth it. Definitely would not recommend...
