We get in there at about 11:30pm and we have quite a large party (12 people). So we seat ourselves and wait for the server to come over to us. We order our drinks and begin looking at the menu. 15 minutes later and we are still waiting for drinks to come to us, and majority of the order was the same drink (rasberry iced tea). So we send one of our group up to the front to go see what's taking so long. She ignored him trying to get her attention while she was sitting at the counter. Finally she turns to him and then just looks away to start grabbing cups. He comes back and tells us she is just starting to get our drinks. So we wait and about 5 minutes later she comes over to us and starts passing out our drinks (which were all wrong). So one from the group asked about how long it would take to get our food since it was now midnight and there were 12 of us we just wanted to get an idea so we would know if we would be eating around 1am. The girl serving us started getting snappy with us saying that she was all by herself and that there was only one cook and that we should've called ahead of time to let them know we we were coming in so they could be properly staffed. We were kind of taken aback by her response..we had decided last minute to go there because they were 24 hrs and close by from castles and coasters where we were celebrating one of our group member's birthday. We didn't mind waiting but her raising her voice to all of us and blaming us for her sitting at the counter not doing anything for 15 minutes was ridiculous. So we decided to leave and just be done with the drama she was creating with us. As we are walking out she was talking to another coworker about the situation and she was telling him "they started getting mad at me for no reason and then they all just started getting up to leave, I dont know why" so one from the group went over there to clarify what happened as we were walking out the door- to explain the reason we were leaving was because she was very rude to us and ignored us for 15 minutes and then got snappy with us when we asked why.The girl then started trying to defend her actions again to the guy and at that point we just left...horrible customer service. Coming from someone who works in the customer service industy as...
Read more1-23-24 Extra, Extra, Read All About it!!! The original Owner bought back Country Boys Restaurant on Cactus and 35th Ave. Yes, he has the Breakfast Specials back ($6.99) and the coupons! Now serving Pizza and Wings. Had breakfast there Monday-- It was great!!!! 9-2023 I highly recommend you read the full Review!!!! Awful!!!!!!!! Tried breakfast again, due to craving the gravy.. chicken-fried steak breakfast with heavy gravy arrived.. the gravy was horrendous -it tastes as if I was just eating pure salt. Advise the waitress she said I'm sorry... go to "Ronnie's Restaurant," on 43rd. Ave. and Cactus for great big breakfast plates, will feed two!!! 10-2-22 I recommend you skip their Friday fish fry, all you can eat. I recommend Daddy O's restaurant off of Thunderbird and 43rd Avenue awesome fish fry and it starts from the minute they open their door on Friday. Not to take from Country Boys restaurant, Coupons not accepted at this time -- No "Buy One Get One Free Coupon," to be used!!! !!!!!. Warning Warning Warning Review your bill- more then once have I busted the waitress charging and manipulating the bill. Every time I rebuttal the bill the waitress- goes to the owner to get approval to correct the pricing. When using your coupon, and if you order more then two meals (such as appetizers, pie, etc.) They will use that item as your buy one get one free. As well, when using the "All you can eat fish" coupon, they will charge you $12.99 which is the dinner meal price- which includes only 3 pc. The coupon for all you can eat fish, price is $11.99. The fish is good, and I continue to go for "All you can eat fish." However, the vinegar is so watered down, your fish will taste like fish in water. Yes, it may be only a few dollars, for one customer. But take that amount x 20 a day. It adds up quickly. I have no issue paying for what I want, but I have an issue with someone...
Read moreI called in my order and was told it would be 10 mins. I went to the store near door to waste time. I stayed in there for about 20. I have pleurisy so my breathing is sometimes labored. When I left the store and walked over to Country Boys, I wasn't feeling quite well. I assumed my order would be ready. It was not. I then heard the lady mention something about a big take out order and she had just sent it back. She SWORE it was not my order. By me not feeling well I said to her if that is my order just cancel it because I don't feel to good. She and her co worker assured me it was not. She then mentioned my order would be up in 2 mins. 20 mins later. Dizzy, hot flashes and hard to breathe she was finally bagging my order. I believe that order she put in last minute was my order, you can plainly see it was rushed. The french toast full order was completely missing. The fries were burnt to a crisp, beyond brown. The hashbrowns were orderd well done the were soft and mushy and the english muffin was a black brick. As I am typing this i am thinking, "I should have taken a picture while I was still in the kitchen" but not feeling well and frustrated with my order I just wanted to come have a rest. I moved here 6 years ago and saw this place. It reminded me of home (Detroit) because every year after church on New Years Eve the kids and I would go to our Country Boys. But in 6 years we never tried this one. It was just nice to always see the sign. But I finally wanted to try it. Epic fail. The manager gave me a credit for the French toast, but I'm not sure if that will ever be used. So sad. So disappointed. And it wasn't even busy in...
