VFW Post 3804 — Restaurant in Picayune

VFW Post 3804 is the best hangout in town! I have heard stories about the "old days", but it has calmed down a lot since then. There is no liquor, but the beer is ice cold. There are plenty of things to do, like shoot pool and attend the no cover charge band nights. Post 3804 hosts benefits for those in need and serves free food at least once or twice a week. I have volunteered here for the past 2+ years, and I have bartended at multiple other local bars for the past 7~ years. This is by far my favorite bar room in Picayune, because the people who frequent it are amazing and they're one big family that always welcome in new people. I love this place! There is always something going on to help others in the community. Everyone except for one person always makes me feel welcome. He's just a miserable little man that will make one beer last hours. But of course I ignore it and I'm nice to him despite the way he treats me. It's who I am, God will take care of the haters.
