So, I genuinely like this store. The employees are usually friendly and helpful. However, lately one employee has caught my attention. On two occasions, I have been disappointed by one person. Yesterday, the customer in front of me voiced her frustration with the same employee in the deli dept. outloud. He rolled his eyes at her. I saw him do it. She was very offended. On my turn, I felt the chip on his shoulder. The encounters seem unfriendly and like we as the customers are inconveniencing him. I find that disturbing. I tried to be overly polite and friendly to maybe break up the negative energy. I failed! In my experience, people that give off this type of vibe are unhappy about something in their life. I feel like someone in leadership there should speak to him and find out what's up! I know one other person has experienced this same bad attitude when visiting last week. The bad attitude is terrible but the customer service quality has dipped as well. I asked for my salami to be cut at a 3, it was given to me at a 1 with holes all in it , not even full slices. It did not serve for the purpose I bought it for. Of course we will eat it, however, I spend 80-100+ each time I visit the store. I often visit the deli, the meat department and the produce department. So the likelihood of me going back to the deli is probable. I would like my next experience to be better and I am sure the other two customers would too. I get people have a bad day but this is more than that. Someone needs to invest some time and understanding and offer some support to him. It could make a while difference, you never know what kind of stress...
Read moreWorst Starbucks kiosk ever. Jessica was so rude and focusing on talking to coworkers instead of customers. Overheard her going off on her assistant manager because she thought she was talking about her when all she was doing was making a coffee for a customer. I did love coming to this kiosk because of the assistant Alaina, however, she’s no longer there. I ran into her and asked why she hadn’t been at work and she informed me that her manager was terrible to work for. That she’d come in with an attitude and passive-aggressively slam things around and when asked what was wrong she’d blame it on Alaina and say she was acting bad. Alaina essentially held up that kiosk for months by herself because her manager was too focused on moving into her new house and other things. All Alaina said she didn’t do was pay bills because she wasn’t allowed to. She said Jessica always brought drama when it was so peaceful and everything flowed smoothly when she was there. She gets angry if someone says their drink doesn't taste right and will then talk about it to a coworker right in front of the customer. She has a disgusting attitude and is very two-faced. I have overheard her sit there and talk bad about the store manager of Ingles after being very fake to him. If she doesn’t want us customers to have bad reviews of her kiosk she shouldn’t talk so loud for everyone to hear. If you want my opinion, the assistant manager should have Jessica’s position because she...
Read moreThis store is very overpriced! We spend (I'm a nerd so I actually used receipts and calculated similar shopping trips) on average 27% more on typical groceries I can buy at Walmart! Same brand and item! $9 for a normal sized bag of (regular green non-organic) grapes that costs me $2.49 (organic!!) at Walmart is not for money watching family! They literally are what we call "Walmart items at Publix prices". Also, their selection is not as extensive as I'm used to and they are VERY often out of at least a couple things on my list. The gas perks are good but their gas is so high that it just equalizes out to going somewhere else so you're not winning there either. There is a nice family atmosphere and the store is clean (why the 2 stars) but the staff is often rude and condescending when I had to use food stamps after a house fire. 🥺 All in all, we dont go...
