Last night was my first and last time going here. I was racially profiled by the bartender as I was getting a drink with my brother (who is a consistent customer there). In order to get in security has to check your ID. My ID was checked and I was cleared to get in. Immediately I went to the bar and he asked for my brothers and I ID. (Note: My brother has said that has never happened before twice.) The Male bartender looks at the ID and proceeds to call me “sketchy.” He then begins to ask me my birthday; I tell him. He tells me I’m wrong and asks me again; I tell him. Come to realize he wasn’t even looking at the right ID, he was looking at my BROTHERS ID and not mine. My brother and I look nothing alike he is of lighter skin tone while I am a darker male. My ID was under my brothers ID which was in the bartenders hand. (Note: Other bartenders was telling him I’m good including the Guards who let me in.) When he realized that he messed up and assumed I was being sketchy, that I indeed said the correct birthday, and he was looking at the wrong ID. He disregarded me, didn’t even apologize and was like “Oh Okay.” No apology or anything. My brother is well known there by EVERYONE including security. We immediately left and many people stopped us asking what was wrong because it wasn’t normal for my brother to leave. It was the first time it happened and a fun night was ruined. As we left many people who knew my brother including security asked why we were leaving so soon and “what was wrong” we told them we will say it next time. My brother goes there all the time and he said that has never happened before. I am a 24 year old black male and I was highly disappointed. The bartender checked no one else’s ID, at all. My boyfriend and I stopped here after a day of travel from out of state and we were very hungry. We each ordered a burger and side salad, the salad to come beforehand. They had complimentary popcorn, which was nice but machine needed a refill when I went over to get some. The server, even though she checked in with us, disappeared for long periods of time. I asked a question about a drink on the menu and she didnt know the answer and went to go ask but was gone 20 minutes. She came back with our water and pop refills I asked again and she was like "oh I forgot let me go ask" and she returned much quicker after that but I didn't want it at that point. It took an unusually long time for the salads to arrive, like I wouldn't have ordered it if it was going to take that long because the burgers arrived shortly after. I had ordered my burger medium well and it came out well and had a slightly burnt taste. The burger was supposed to come with fries but mine didn't have them. Before I could say anything the server had already walked away and continued to do so even though I called to them. Our regular server (different from who brought out the food) was apologetic for the misunderstanding..I realized she thought I was getting the salad as my side not an additional item. She offered to get some but I politely declined and my boyfriend shared his fries with me. Fries were cold. No ketchup on table. My boyfriend wanted mayo but server disappeared again. Wait staff did what they could, however the kitchen was extremely backed up. We order drinks and app at 6pm and it wasn’t until 7 the apps were brought out. Then when the entrees came out, short ribs and mash were ice cold. Waited another 25 min while my family ate their food while I waited for my meal to come out. The manager brought out my food and apologized for the wait. The waiter was nice stating the short ribs would be comp. When the receipt came out the short ribs weren’t comp. When my husband asked why it wasn’t the server stated the manager refused. When my husband asked to speak with the manager the server stated the manager would not come out. Then another waitstaff stated the manager was a D**K which I see to be true. For a customer to request a manager and be told the manager basically didn’t care. And for a waitstaff to tell a customer what they really thought about the manager. Just goes to show you. At that point it is what it is. We would not be stepping foot back into any of your establishments and I would not recommend this place to anyone either.
