Battlefield Cafe — Restaurant in Pilot Knob

Pleasant atmosphere, great food, nice old-fashioned mom-and-pop Cafe environment. Centrally located in the Arcadia Valley, directly across from Historic Fort Davidson. Only open, Wednesday through Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. so if you passed by after 3 p.m. you would think the place is out of business, but don't let sights deceive you. This is a popular place! The food definitely deserves a 5-star rating. However, I know someone who has worked there for a few months and was not treated very nicely by management. The individual in question has an impeccable work history, ethics, conduct and attitude toward the job. Based on this experience alone, I have to give the restaurant a three star rating. After all, it's all about how you treat people, or should I say how you value people. Whether it be an employee, or a customer, they are both human beings and if you would not treat an employee well then the attitude toward customers is probably along...

The restaurant was empty, food took forever to get and it was cold when I got it. I got biscuits and gravy, sausage, and scrambled eggs. The eggs were wet and cold, the sausage was cold and hard, and the biscuits were barely warm. Gave me no time to look over the menu, the workers were sitting down and talking too. When she was refilling my coffee she touched the pot to my arm. (didn’t say sorry) Coffee was also cold..who would have thought? Made sure to get our refills and brought everything out right though, so service was ok. Used to be a cute place where everybody hanged out, took all the decor off and it’s empty now. I was here when they first open. Same thing happen then that took place today. I was there for breakfast this morning it was almost 10:00 a.m. Girl got me my coffee and water. I wait for her to come back. She wait on other people. They did not have that many people in there. I wait for 10 mins a Park Ranger comes in. He orders I'm still waiting to order. I want down to Fort Davidson and eat. Best homemade food I ever had. O I did not have to wait 10 to 15 min to order. Fort Davidson had a full house. Rustler I will never...
