My daughter and I frequently get coffee here because we love the coffee and the staff so much. Today she walked over by herself to shop at the boutique next door (another favorite of ours) and after shopping stopped in to get a coffee. Once she came home she realized that her wallet was missing. We searched everywhere in the house to no avail. It was pitch black but we drove back over to see if we could find it. We stopped in at Beer Towne to let the owner Karen know what had happened. I left my number just in case. Karen so nicely texted Todd (the coffee shop owner) so he could be on the look out the next day. My daughter has autism so her anxiety is always challenging. Karen texted me back to let me know that Todd actually drove back to the coffee shop solely to look for her wallet and he found it! Just as I think the world has changed so much, his act of kindness was nothing short of amazing. She and I will sleep well tonight because of him. I will never buy coffee from any other place again. Born and raised in Pine I now realize things have changed in this world but the Pine community continues to be the same place I grew up in thanks to business owners like...
Read moreGot a Pumpkin spice latte and a breakfast sandwich here the other day and spent most of my morning/early afternoon here.
Drink was incredibly overpriced for the quality in my opinion. I’m not even a coffee snob but the latte I got had no pumpkin flavor and lacked any sweetness. (For context it’ll probably be over $10 for a regular sized latte if you tip.) Really mediocre and there are plenty of other small coffee shops that give you more, for cheaper, and at a higher quality.
Food was more fairly priced but felt smaller than I expected. Not gonna complain about the food tho, I felt like I got what I paid for with it.
Service was as standard as it gets. Not bad service but not anything to rave about either.
Ambiance was cool. Liked the decorations and it felt comfortable to spend some time at.
Overall would not go again. My latte tasted like milk with a slight bit of sugar but no real coffee taste and not enough of the flavor I wanted either. I’d be ok with paying $6 for a latte I’m indifferent about but not $10+ for a regular...
Read moreMy new favorite place for coffee in the greater Pittsburgh area! Their cold brew coffee is now my all time favorite. Their drip coffee is also wonderful. You can actually taste coffee rather than the burnt or a watered down version at some other places. I’ve also had their egg bites, pepperoni rolls, cookies, and ice cream. Everything has been a huge hit for me and they will continue to get my business.
I also love that they have an outdoor space with seating and a fire, that is also pet friendly. They also have an efficient drive through that I currently use during these cold months.
I haven’t had any negative experiences with the staff and the owners are usually in-store and very friendly.
The inside has plenty of seating and provides a comfortable environment.
I hope they...
