Ordered delivery. Pizza was very good, especially the crust. The reason i only have 3 stars is the meatballs. My sister and I ordered to share, expecting large, tennis ball-ish sized meatballs which is standard fare when you order meatballs alone. The price of the menu item was 10.99, which is in line with the size we were expecting.

What we got were two barely golf ball sized meatballs in a sea of marinara. I took a picture with a sharpie to scale, but honestly its kinda of a generous angle. If i had a ping pong ball that would've been better since they were about that size.

Admittedly I see now on the menu that it says that the meatballs are 2oz, but a) I don't keep track of the ounceage I'm getting when I order meatballs and b) what italian/pizza place is selling just two tiny meatballs solo, especially at that price point?? My sister ordered a personal pizza with 1 topping and the entire pizza (9.99) was less than the 2 measly meatballs. And honestly they didn't taste great. VERY sweet for our preference but I'll admit that might be too others' liking. This menu item should either be half it's current price or...

I really want them to do well and I wanted to love it but, it was just okay. We got the Grandma (I think that’s the name) crusted pizza and we expected just the outter edge of the crust to be thick, or something like a pan pizza (like Chicago style), but it was the whole crust. It was like bread with a little bit of topping. Which was another thing. There wasn’t enough cheese or toppings on it so it seemed for like cheesy (not so cheesy) bread than a pizza. Maybe the regular crust would be better. A friend of ours was there and we suggested they get the regular crust one. They said it was okay with a shrug. I think it’s important for restaurant owners to make a difference based on suggestions and reviewers as it’s not going to be easy to withstand in a developing area such as Pittsboro. For the cost, there needs to be a good amount of cheese and toppings. I want pizza when I go out for pizza, not dough with a sprinkle on it. Please make this happen! We will try again in a couple of months. But the owner is great and the place is...

I’m sharing this review with the intention of providing constructive feedback to help the business improve. It saddens me to write this, but I believe it's important for them to receive this input.

I placed an order for a large pizza topped with pepperoni and sausage. However, when it arrived, it only had pepperoni and lacked sausage entirely. Additionally, the size of the pizza was closer to a medium rather than the large I had requested. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the order.

I ordered an additional personal pizza, and I found it to be mostly crust with very little substance. Additionally, I noticed that there was no sauce on any of the pizzas I received.

This establishment has the potential to offer a great pizza experience, but it falls short in terms of value for the price. The portion sizes do not align with the cost, making it less than ideal for those seeking...

This was our first time there, and we will certainly be back. This small pizzeria tucked back in the corner of the strip mall is Pittsboro's secret gem. The menu has the classics, but it goes much deeper than that. They use local ingredients as much as possible. The salad was so fresh and delicious! We tried a few things, starting with the wings and salad and ending with two personal size pizzas. They also have a nice selection of beer and wine. The staff was so kind and friendly. Every aspect of our night out at Hoops was outstanding! We were there on a Tuesday night, and there was a steady flow of people dining in and getting carry out. Give them a try and help spread the word that they are in town.

Placed a to go order for wings, pizza & dessert. Pizza was burnt, I wished I would have opened inside before I left bc I would have not kept (they shouldn’t even have boxed it looking like that :/) Wings were small but tasted ok I give 7/10. Cannoli ($7) was the size of a candy bar. Tasted like any other cannoli but for the price I would give 2 of those size or go down on price. Overall spent $40 & this amt of food didn’t fill up a party of 2. Will maybe try them again in the future but for the price point I’d prob just go somewhere else tbh. Otherwise the service was quick & they were polite. But as for our first time, not a good experience for the food.
