It is important now, more than ever to provide great customer service. I made the mistake in visiting a local bookstore hoping to have a great experience. When I entered the store with a handful of books to sell, I felt I was not welcomed.

The attendant coldly took my books and quietly scanned them one after the other. When he told me how much they were worth, I politely declined. He proceeded to place my books on the table as I placed them back into their carrying case.

I was carrying out 35 to 50 books and assumed he would help get the door which requires you to manually press down on the latch to open and shut. I was again wrong and proceeded to struggle to open the door to leave.

I guess because I was not a paying customer, I did not receive the usual treatment. Oh well I will never return to Circle City Books & Music again. I just hope the next customer has a far better experoence and...

I am so proud to have this bookshop in my community. Ever since moving here recently, I have visited Circle City from time to time. The selection is good, with surprise gems that delight. The staff is helpful and lovely. The atmosphere is top-notch bookshop gold. I often love to come here to get lost for hours at a time. Most surprising and impressive are the prices. I had expected the all-too-typical "used bookstore with new book prices" but I am consistently surprised. The shop is very involved in the community and is the kind of establishment that feeds a sense of community. They've helped me acquire books for work on short notice on a couple occasions -- I was in a "bind".

The collection is impressive and varied, especially for such a small shop footprint. A keen eye clearly runs Circle City Books & Music.

Thrilled to have discovered this bookstore - they have an impressive collection of books, in a variety of prices, all very fair (could charge more really). I got three books for $22, all in good condition. There’s everything from rather old fiction, to books published recently. I picked up a book that’s been on my TBR that was published last year, and some older works, including a lovely classic volume in great shape. There’s also a lovely collection of signed books and some rare collector’s editions as well. The CD and vinyl selection is very diverse and everything in the store is incredibly well-organized. I look forward to returning often, and like another reviewer said - I could’ve spent a fortune in here, and no doubt I will, in due time!
