IHOP — Restaurant in Pittsburg

Waitresses hideout in kitchen and aren't trained right I've never been in an IHop no matter how busy that the waitress never brings food to the table another person does, even then the service is not there I asked the waitress while taking another order when she had a minute if she would come over to my table I was hoping to add to my meal some hash browns as I thought that they came with the T-bone steak and eggs and needed a pepper shaker as there wasn't one on the table she only returned to drop check off at table and asked how was everything if she didn't hide in the kitchen so much she would probably be a better waitress I did watch another waitress tell a customer she didn't know that they sat at her table if she would have scaned the room (as it isn't that large) she would have seen them while at the POS system and she isn't very attentive to her customers either obviously you have the wrong management staff or the service would be there one more suggestion get rid of the wall between the kitchen and the seating counter so your staff can see their customers and tables as it would keep your staff from hiding out...

I have never gotten cold food at an IHOP until today. This location needs management who will manage not a dish washer in the manager's uniform.

Upon arrival there wasn't a hostess, we waited 5 mins to be greeted and told they needed to clean tables. The tables were quickly cleaned and we sat down, 4 adults and 2 children. After seeing the now hiring sign we presumed they were short staffed. We counted 6+ waitresses for less than 20 tables total, so this was not the case. We waited at least 45 minutes after ordering our food--- it all came out at room temp, the pancakes wouldn't melt butter, hash browns were not hot, eggs were cold in the grossest way possible.

My 5 year old and 1 year old wouldn't even eat the pancakes. None of the adults ate.

We asked to speak to the manager, who never came. We had to go get his attention from the kitchen as he was washing dishes. Once he received our complaint he waved us off and walked away, addressing no issues. Then we waited for our check, which also had to be solicited. 10 out of 10 I would...

This restaurant had been open 2 weeks. I went with a group of locals excited to go as it was a new restaurant in town. The service was beyond horrible. We had to ask for every condiment i.e. Syrup for pancakes was not brought before OR after. By the time it was brought, pancakes were cold. Drink refills etc. My salad took 35 minutes to be brought to me and it wasn't what I ordered. Server took it back, picked off the meat and onions; replaced it with correct meat; brought it back without dressing; which I had to wait several minutes for and then I found hair in it. Cooks not wearing hair nets or masks I presume. The server said she would give my friend her credit back who was paying AFTER she filled out the Tip and receipt. Are you kidding me?
