Away on vacation in a cabin in Pittsburgh, NH, and we did not know what to expect. But a few doors down a line of cars on the street and a crowd lined up to order ice cream tells us all we need to know. This has to be the best place in town to get an ice cream. Not only that, but they have a list of specialty Sundays, too. We did not mind the wait as it gave us time to mull over the long menu. There are too many choices. By the time it was out, turn to order I had to choose, and they offered to help by answering any final questions I had. And a decision was made. Several picknick tables were near to eat at and there was a view of the lake. All of us at our party enjoyed their ice cream. 🍨 We shall return as there were many other options we wish to try. Yummy! A return trip and the Ice Cream was as tasty as ever. I got the McGalloway this time. The brownie on the bottom in the waffle cone was a great combination. The family also liked their dishes too. We shall return again. On future vacations. On the return trip, there was no wait as we went right before dinner. But again, there were so many choices we could have waited longer and mulled more over the many choices.

I went here for the NH ice cream trail, and it was a long drive but totally worth it in my opinion. The staff were great and really friendly! I really liked their strawberry ice cream. It had a creamy like texture and chunks of strawberries and it was sweet but not overly too much, had just enough of everything. I ordered a kiddie size cone and it was a little big! My boyfriend ordered a small cup of vanilla and he thought for sure it was a medium so the portion size, you definitely get what you paid for. Driving there seemed a bit sketchy especially this big drop on the road like hill, definitely felt like going down a Rollercoaster, on the way there and on the way back home but it's overall a great place to stop. Don't let the small stomach drop keep you from trying out this place though!

My favorite ice cream place in NH. I live in Southern NH but I visit Pittsburg at least once a year and always have to eat here at least once. I get the loons nest but always with a new flavor. It is the best sundae by far! My kids always beg to stop by to get an ice cream. We all leave very happy! The service is great, the view is great and the food is great!

They have something for everyone including your dog!!! It's soooo hard to choose what you want because they have so many options from ice cream sundaes with fanciful names to simple soft serve in a regular cone, sugar cone, plain or chocolate waffle cone, a mug, or a dish. Mint chocolate chip, 3 scoops, in a chocolate waffle cone was absolutely divine!!! My BF ordered maple pecan in a dish and said it was wonderful. We ordered the dog dish for Teddy Bear; he has never had ice cream before. It's a small dish of vanilla soft serve with a little dog biscuit on top. He just sniffed it at first. We told him if he didn't eat it then Taz (the bird) was going to. Well, his head dove right down into that dish so quickly and he lapped it up as fast as he could. When he looked up again he had an ice cream beard!!!! LOL DON'T MISS A TRIP TO MOOSE...
