Ordered from here for the first time the other day. Got a pu pu for one. Most of the food seemed under cooked, especially to what I’m use to. Chicken finger batter was doughy , wontons had good flavor but not real crispy. The rice was pretty white with little flavor. Chicken wings were definitely undercooked looking (see photo). Beef teriyaki was decent. I won’t be back.

Survived 2 years at MCI thanks to Kwong Lee since the food at school was terrible. At least there’s an almost good Asian food nearby. The place is small and definitely the food is overpriced. But I like Pupu Tray the most!

Extremely disappointed. Very slow service. Seems like there is one guy doing everything in here. Phone constantly ringing nobody picks it up. Food is bla. Place used to be really good :(

There are a few chinese places in this area and I think this is the best of the bunch I've tried. I don't tend to add salt to my dishes but my order was actually a little bland, which is unusual for chinese food. Not sure that this is necessarily a bad thing. The lunch service is reasonably priced and well apportioned. Dinner is as well, but I've only had takeout for dinner. The dining area exists but appears to double as a storage area. There is table service but the person who appeared to be working seems to have never been in a restaurant or served dinner before - there were not enough utensils for our party, we were not offered condiments - or checked on at all really, and we were literally the only table there because we came in for a very late lunch. (The other person working who appeared to have something to do did bring us more tea, but the person who took our order seemed lost.) If you're looking for decent american-style chinese take-out, this place is worth a try. Service may be better on a different day or if there is a room of people to tend to, but I can't say. I've seen people in the dining area so it must work sometimes.

Edit 2025/07/12 to add that table service was much improved this visit. The server was very attentive and friendly. Although the beef was a little tough the food was still very good. They appear to do more take-out than dining in....

Really good food. Little pricey on some things but not all.

Update:. I started it with A 5 start rating. After the last encounter needless to say it's a 1 star now.

So we no longer eat food from here. Told them of a severe allergy. Got our order home and found the ONE thing that will kill me in our food. Called them up to complain. They asked if we wanted to bring it back. I asked if they were going to redo the entire order or were they just gonna take out what I'm allergic to and give the food back. Their response was that some of the food didn't come in contact. IT'S ALL IN THE SAME CONTAINER. This is the second time this has happened. First time was over 6 years ago. Told them I wanted a refund and I was not coming back. They refused to refund my money told me they would give in-store credit. Needless to say we decided to try them again and things were going well. At least until the last time. If you have allergies, check your food BEFORE leaving the restaurant and even before paying. They have let their quality control...

Just left there spent whole time home hoping what I smelt was not my food. Everything was disgusting the general tsaos had clearly been made right away even tho my order was delayed an hr by request so was soggy and that was the best part of my meal the egg roll was gray inside and smelled like sour kraut, the chicken fingers I saturated multi napkins with Grease squeezing one out before I gave up because it was so greasy that the breading was turned to mush the pork in the rice was discolored and tasted like came from something been in the fridge a week and the beef stick was the lowest quality meat I've ever seen almost mush because so fatty. I ate a few bites and I've been feeling sick since don't know if just fat over load or something worse . Advise to stay away there is no way those recent high reviews got food like mine and even if they CAN make good food , if they could also serve you food poisoning on a plate is Russian roulette with your dinner what...
