Royal Dragon — Restaurant in Placerville

This was our first time eating at the Royal Dragon. It starts with the young man at the register, I asked him what the buffet price was, without saying a word to me, he points to a sign over his shoulder...okaaay. The food was of poor quality. There were 3 trays where the food was dried out so badly, none of us tried it. The fried rice was NOT, it was plain, dry, nothing in it. The chow mein was chewy. There was a variety of food, but 99% of it was chicken. They only refilled the chow mein, while we were there, but most of the trays needed to be refilled. They had prawns, but there was more batter than shrimp. They had a decent salad bar, with watermelon and cantaloupe. Be careful, because they have cookies out at the beginning of the salad bar, but you have to pay extra for them, there is a sign , but only one of us actually saw it.....this is kind of tacky, because it is very easy to take a $$ cookie when it is at the buffet line. Let's start with how un welcome I was when I walked in the door the lady didnt say hi or even knowledge us we picked our own seat and when she did come to the table she didnt have menus so we just chose the buffet it's a small buffet we have to wait for 30 minutes or more for fresh food to be set out in the buffet area becouse all of the food was super old and dry I felt unwelcome there but after the new food finally came out the food was good I watch her literally put some of the old food with the new food and try to mix it around I watched her pick up cookies with her bare hands and put them in a to go container for a costummer that was ordering to go... it is the only Chinese restaurant near Georgetown so I wasnt surprise on how quiet it was but still they should atleast have the food be fresh I would recommend to order out or what is on the menu...

The food was horrible we couldn't even eat it it had been it was like it had been sitting around for a while and I just called them and he hung up on me trying to tell me that it was because I ordered it at different times I believe they make this food in advance and just when you order something they give you whatever's been sitting around for a long time they don't make it fresh I am more than disappointed and he said he wouldn't remake it so I'm out the money like 40 bucks these people with these restaurants just don't seem to care about what they're serving the people that are going to their establishment it's very sad It is...
