Understaffed, so expect long wait times. Even at 2pm on a weekday afternoon, Trailside Treats can only afford to hire a lone 1 person to work with no one else around to help, so you could easily wait 10-15 minutes for an ice-cream cone. And this is during the "slow" times. I can't even imagine how backed-up and delayed they are during busy times like weekends and evenings. Ice cream is great, the service is friendly, but for so many years now Trailside Treats has been notoriously understaffed - I wish they weren't so stingy with hiring...

Great ice cream and one of our favorite spots to meet mom/grandma and have some ice cream. Lots of variety and generous portions.

Just want to give a shout out to whoever was working Sunday (9/10/23) around 4ish. She was by herself and all of a sudden there was a big rush. She handled it with grace, a smile, did not get flustered, and was super apologetic about the wait. I was thrilled to see her get help as we finished our ice cream as it was a steady line of 7 or 8 people for the hour or so...
