Singing Crust LLC — Restaurant in Plainfield

The bakery is cute and bread is awesome. My 1- star rating is for dishonesty I recently received from business owners. When I complemented tha Swedish rye bread, the owner told me that she would bake it next week and let me know when it is in the store. So they called me, I was super excited and drove 50 miles to pick up my 3 loaves of bread they were holding for me. I got inside, paid, and was told that my three loaves were made just for me. :) Of course I was touched and said very nice things to shop workers. When I got home and open my bag, I discovered at least 2 days old 3 loaves of bread :( So it was not made just for me, they sold me left overs (old bread). As much as I love their freashly baked bread, I will not be going to Signing Crust anymore. I will find...

Stopped for a fast breakfast. Was looking for a nice, quick sit down breakfast spot and missed our options. Saw this "Pastries" center and stopped While it does have pastries, it is not a " Donut shop" They do have made to order breakfast items, pay attention to the menu. We ordered an egg and cheese croissant (I Think). While sitting in the car I told the Wife " I think we could of had bacon or sausage on these" we also had a muffin each. The only thing I can complain about from our experience is that we had to eat in the car ( we were going to Cox's Plant Farm). It was a nice day and we would have been fine sitting on outdoor seating. Would definitely stop again and probably will, just wish there were 1 or 2 tables inside and outside. ...

Came in last week. First time to visit this lovely place. Smelled so good inside, the smell of warm bread was just inviting. The staff was nice and accommodating. There wasn’t a lot of items left from what I saw, but they had some cinnamon rolls, some artisan breads,some cookies,brownies and some salads left. I grabbed the last turkey,Gouda in a rosemary bread. The sandwich was divine! The Rosemary was not too strong and was good partner with the turkey. I also bought 2 bags of challah rolls and they were the perfect density and size for my Korean Garlic Cream Cheese Bread. All in all I give this...
