El Mercadito Street Tacos — Restaurant in Plainview

I never complain because I never had trouble with my order. Every time I order everything is good my insane nachos and especially the barbacoa tacos are good. But this time around my order has always come out incorrect. I ordered online and said no tomatoes on my nachos when I get home ready to eat open the to go plate and there's tomatoes. My nachos looked like a nacho salad because there was more lettuce,tomatoes,cheese,chips, little scoop of beans, and little (4-5) pieces of fajita meat. If wanna satisfy your customers and bring them back for business then make the order correct. I understand new employees new cooks but show them the correct way don't lose the touch of your food and especially don't lose your customers over something that can be fixed. At This restaurant you place your order at the register get your own drinks and they call your number and you get you food. I had the asada tacos and they were actually very good my sister had tostadas they were not good at all she ate half of my tacos there wasn't very many people in there and the food was kind of pricey for having to do everything yourself I probably wouldn't recommend this place the environment was not very good staff was not very friendly and that takes away from the enjoyment of having going up and having a dinner with your sister that you haven't...

This is the worst mexican food in town and not only that, it's overpriced. The meat is salty and dry. I say this as a full blooded mexican that knows what actual good mexican food is supposed to be like. It's really not surprising that the owner has to advertise herself on those big billboards in town instead of her food to draw customers in. I have given this place plenty of chances thinking I just caught them on a bad day but no. Every time, the food is mediocre and I leave feeling like my money was badly spent. If you want good mexican food go anywhere...
