Goodfellas bar and grill - Plainview — Restaurant in Plainview

The first time I came here everything was good. This time though I ordered a 10oz sirloin and asked for medium cook. The waitress adv that the cook made a 10oz sirloin instead and she was nice enough to give me the option of either getting my sirloin or a discount on the ribeye. I chose to keep the ribeye as it was already out. Well cutting into it the steak was cooked well done. I understand things happen but come on... So i called the waitress back and adv I don't mind the steak mixup but I asked for medium and that it was cooked well done. So I sent it back.

Well then she said they would put it in a to go box since I was the only one who hadn't eaten. I said that was fine. I get home and open the box and the steak looked delicious. Well... After cutting into it guess what? It was cooked well done again. Which I can only assume this time was done on purpose. Can definitely say it was not the same experience and...

I have to give a huge shoutout to Cassie, our waitress at Goodfellas Bar and Grill in Plainview! From the moment we walked in, she made us feel right at home with her warm smile and friendly attitude. She was not only incredibly attentive but also had the perfect balance of professionalism and charm, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.

Cassie was on top of everything—our drinks never went empty, our food arrived hot and fresh, and she checked in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Plus, she knew the menu inside and out, giving great recommendations that did not disappoint!

It’s rare to find someone who genuinely seems to love what they do, but Cassie absolutely shines in her role. If you’re stopping by Goodfellas, do yourself a favor and ask for her—you won’t be disappointed!

Ouch! A little pricey. Thursday night dinner & drinks (most with alcohol) for our party of 3 came to $130 ($105 + tax & 18% gratuity). Friends say I'm so tight with money I squeak which should help explain my sticker shock. Still, drinks were refreshing & not skimpy on alcohol. And food was hot, fresh, generously portioned & greasy. Just how I like it!

Update: My original review deducted 1 ⭐ due to my irritation when I saw the check total which I acknowledge was my only complaint. Whatever my thoughts about the pricing, it feels unfair to punish Goodfellas (or any restaurant) for the price of items alone when those prices are clearly printed on menus for all customers to see in advance of ordering.
