Panaderia La Reina Imperial — Restaurant in Plano

I came to this bakery to try and then order Churros for my husband’s birthday party because it had such good reviews. I placed my order about 4 days prior to my “Fiesta” birthday dinner for 20. I expressed that I HAD TO pick up my order by 2:30. They will be ready at 2:00 she said. Guests were arriving at 3:00. Went to the bakery to pick up my churros. But No Churros!! They were not ready until almost 3:30. No one had seen the order. Customer service was terrible!! No apology and definitely no one tried to get the order ready as soon as possible. They didn’t even start to make them for another half hour. By the time I got home all my guests were already there!! I’m sure glad I wasn’t picking up a wedding cake!! Super busy little place a hole in the wall Mexican sweet bread (pan dulce). Went in on a Tuesday afternoon. They had so much fresh straight out the oven sweet bread out. I'm giving it a 2 only due to the young lady cashier was sneezing she just turn your face away to the side, and she was the one bagging the sweet bread. I wish I could give this place more stars. There is not a single RIVAL in all of DFW that makes pan dulce as flawlessly. Every time we go, we think we find our favorite thing... then the next time we find a new favorite.
