Let's knock out the atmosphere first. Not that it's terrible but it is a food trailer along Highway 92. So you're going to get road noise depending on the time of day. The eating area is essentially picnic tables on a rock covered ground. The area also has a large shelter over the area. There is a clean up area and portapotty on site. And they do play some music. This isn't a knock on the place. The food there makes up for the lack of decor. Now the things that make this place exceptional are the owner Cory, he buys locally sourced veggies and beef. His ingredients are primo. He uses tallow to cook his fries. You're not going to find better ingredients used. The portions are massive! The burgers will fill you up. And if you get fries, I'd suggest you split them with someone. His drink options are basically sodas and water. I personally like to see some Malta and ginger beer and maybe some fruit juices. Service is as quick as it can be considering that everything is made to order. So don't be in too much of a hurry. This ain't McDonalds. My personal favorite is the El Jefe. A bit spicy with the jalapeños. I've tried others and they are great too, but the El Jefe wins out. Give this place a try. Cory's a great guy and dedicated to his loyal customers.

Finally stopped in today with my son after seeing A ton Of Fanfare and raving reviews on Local Facebook Community Groups and after trying their BCB I agree wholeheartedly. I would go as far as to say these are Aritisian Burgers as they are made to order, Handcrafted, the Beef and toppings are locally sourced with Unique Sauces, and the Fries are Beef Tallow fried. The staff was outgoing and friendly, the Owner Cory even took a minute to step out and chat. You can see the pride for what he does in his expression. The location is Basically a permanently parked food truck with a dining Pavilion, and large parking areas to each side of the dining Pavilion. Everyone Locally Loves this place so Its 100% worth hopping off I4 when traveling between Tampa and Orlando. They can be found on the south side of US Hwy 92 Between exits 14 and 17 just a mile or so south of the Interstate.

We had the opportunity to eat at Blue Collar Burger today! What an unbelievable awesome experience! 10/10 all around! The service from Mary Ann was 5🌟 all the way, the burgers were phenomenal and those Tallow fries- oh my! We had the opportunity to meet Cory the owner- such a personable, humble guy! He came out to greet us and checked on all the patrons while we were there. One of our favorite things and will keep us customers forever is the clean, grass fed ingredients he uses. In this day and age that’s hard to find! Same with those tallow fries! You can literally taste the passion and love in their food. Even the presentation was perfect! You need to go for yourself. Help support Plant City small businesses! You won’t be disappointed! Tell them Frank Fautas (owner of Espo’s Pizza sent you!)

The Owner of Blue Collar Burger is Cory Rapp. According to Google he used to work at Ad Hoc in California. He also opened his own restaurant the Royal Rooster in San Diego CA.

The owner of Blue Collar Burger claims be a Michelin Star chef. The reality is Ad Hoc in CA does not have a Michelin Star but is Michelin Guide Recommended. The owner of Blue Collar Butger Cory Rapp worked here at Ad Hoc in CA as a chef. Edit in reply to owners response Cory alleges to have worked at other Michelin Star restaurants. Typically when a chef works at a Michelin Star restaurant it is very easy to find their name associated with the restaurant on Google. When you look up Corey Rapp nothing comes up showing he actually worked in a Michelin Star restaurant which is odd, but I guess possible. Yet unlikely.

The owner of Ad Hoc in CA (not the owner of Blue Collar Burger) has several award winning restaurants but it appears Cory didn’t work at these places hence he likely wasn’t actually trained in the Michelin Star food. * Edit in reply to owners response.Don’t get me wrong the guy probably is a good cook especially if he is making burgers. After all anyone can cook at minimum a half decent burger, it’s nothing you need culinary experience to do well. Unfortunately I will never know how good of a cook this guy is due to comments from him I found on Google to his paying customers. **

If you Google the owners of Blue Collar Burgers old restaurant Royal Rooster in San Diego CA and filter to 1 star reviews you can See he constantly responds in an unprofessional way to anyone who leaves a review that is not favorable. This is the case for both Yelp reviews and Google Reviews.

I personally can’t support someone no matter how well they can cook that responds to reviews the way he does and treats customers in a very unprofessional manner. I would encourage everyone to look up the way the owner of Blue Collar Burger responded to paying customers of his old restaurant Royal Rooster in San Diego CA and filter to 1 star and make their own decision before supporting this guys newest restaurant Blue Collar Burger.

Cory blew up on the Honest Food Guy for good review recently I’m not sure why. Then Cory proceeded to spread false Information about the Honest Food Guy trying to tarnish his business and reputation. All this over a good review why? **Edit in reply to owners reply, I’m triggered because the Honest Food Guy does so much good for local businesses and gives them a ton of exposure. He gave you a good score, and actually made me want to try your place. I never heard of it before his review. Adam the Honest Food Guy is a really great guy. After seeing how you reacted to his very good review, I researched you a little bit. I see you are very unprofessional and ignorant. I want the public to be aware before supporting you. I can’t get behind support ignorant people who are rude to their customers no matter how good the food is. There are plenty of great options with indoor dining as well to waste my time trying Blue Collar Burger out.

Cory if you can’t take the heat of getting a good review then you need to get out of...

I didn't know what to expect when we made a trip to Blue Collar. It was recommend to us by a friend - or maybe 2. I didn't know that it was a food truck setup.. But PLEASE don't let that stop you from going. There's plenty of parking (on the right). As I walked up closer I realized that it's really a permanent setup with a really nice layout. Everything is really clean and tidy, there is plenty of picnic table seating in a fresh gravel, fenced off, courtyard kind of area. Definitely a relaxed atmosphere... In a really good way. There is no indoor seating, so... Carry out or enjoy the fresh air. The girl that took our order was super friendly and helpful and the food? Really-Really good! The burger, always fresh 'n hot and made to order, was DEE-LISH! Juicy, flavorful, maybe the best in town. How-Ever... That, my friends, is Not the whole story. It turns out that they have a little secret weapon, they fry everything in tallow, not tasteless vegetable oil. Why does this matter? Because it makes the very best French Fries AND Tater-Tots I've ever had! Really. I was sitting there munching away, thinking hmmm, these are really good, is it my imagination, or.... Then I munched a few more, and was like... No, it's real, these ARE wonderful fries! After 3 more crisp, fresh, flavorful, fries, I had to sign up for a 12 step program to deal with my new addiction. On my way to the first meeting of my new 12-step group I thought I was a little bit hungry so I thought maybe I should stop by and grab some fries on the way... just to make sure that I really was addicted. So I sat there eating fries as slowly as I could, until I realized, oh no! I'm too late for the meeting now. "Ma'am! Can I please get a refill on my...

First and foremost, I would have given this place a well deserved, fair, and honest 3 star review. The reason for the 2 stars is because when I got home I noticed they did not put bacon on my burger that I paid 2 dollars extra for. Was it deserving of a star less, you can decide.

The burgers: Nothing special when trying to beef patty alone. I will say when eating it together it tasted pretty good. I think the buns carried the bulk of the flavor.

The beef Tallow fries: again nothing crazy at all it just tasted like normal fries.

The price: let’s just say id rather go to Five Guys for basically the same price. I think five guys taste better for around the same price and they even give wayyy more fries.

The atmosphere: There wasn’t anything wrong with it, just wasn’t our style at all. The cashier was giving us so weird looks at first and was kind of silent at first. He turned out to be pretty chill and just looked like he’d rather be doing other things. He looked no older than 20, so I don’t blame him if he looked like he’d rather be at the beach than serving people. They played country music, like country county music. Nothing wrong with it like I said, just isn’t our style. We’re colored people and we felt a little out of place there. But all in all they were friendly enough. All in all I think the burgers are better than your average burger but not spectacular in any sense, at least not enough to justify the price. A little bit cheaper and not forgetting to add the bacon, I think this could be an excellent lunch spot for regular...
