For the best tacos I've ever had, Tacos Los Mexicanas Catrachas is the place! I had their birria tacos, and they were nothing but spectacular. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, infused with just the right amount of interior spices, making each bite a delight. The tacos were made with freshly prepared warm and sturdy tortillas to hold all the tasty fillings. What really took them to the next level was how they were served with a side of consommé. And that's a whole other story, as it's a taco's best duet partner. Consommé is to tacos what gravy is to biscuits or a good marinara sauce is to a deep-fried calzone. The vibrant and welcoming vibes made it a terrific spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The food was not as good as i thought it'd be. Too much fat on the steak, wish they trimmed the meat better, every other bite is rubbery fat pieces so it was annoying having to stop and pick out all the rubbery fat pieces which ended up being half the meat. The fries were not so good, definitely from a frozen bag, for $17 a plate of steak fries, they could of used fresh fries and better steak . My husband ordered chicken tacos but they gave him steak tacos which he had to take the "steak" out because there was so much fat, barely any meat. He was so upset , ended up with tortillas and cilantro after paying $29 for food we couldn't enjoy. Glad other ppl had a better experience. Stopped for gas here, saw the truck figured I try a taco. Very well done, lengua was nicely cooked with good seasoning. Got the red salsa, a little spicy but gave the extra that extra kick. Nice chuncky grilled onions and fresh onions and cilantro with a sloce of lime. Also got an agua Fresca de Orchata, also good and sweet but I wouldn't say it was homemade. Still very good.
