Boudin Shack — Restaurant in Plaquemine

Update: I decided to try the Chicken Cracklings and Boudin Wantons. OMG! They are both delicious. The Chicken Cracklings were seasoned just right, it was my first time trying them...next to the pepper jack egg rolls they have to be my favorite. The wantons were nice and crispy they too were flavorful and just right.

The service is great, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. My favorite is the Boudin Egg Rolls. The only thing wrong was I had ordered The Eggs Rolls and never double checked my bag before leaving and when I got home which was 45 minutes away I noticed I was given Boudin Balls instead. This will be one of my fav stops when I come home to Baton Rouge. I came here 3 days in a row! Before heading back to GA, I stocked up on a few delicious things. Fried boudin balls, links, chicken crackling ( that was a new one for me), pork crackling & boudin egg rolls. ALL REALLY GOOD. And the icing on the cake.... GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! First off the staff are very friendly and helpful. Second off I have try everything. The pepperjack Eggroll are awesome. The chicken crackling are to die for. The pepperjack wonton are good too. The boudin are great too. The crawfish pie are nice. I only have two bad things to say 1. Pepperjack boudin balls are to mushy and 2. The regular crackling need seasoning.
