Myself and two others went in Wok Cuisine this evening. To our surprise it was not acceptable. I got Hot and Sour Soup , normally I love it . It was cold . I got fried rice ,it was cold ,green beans were cold . When I brought this to the young man's attention,he kept walking and ignored me . Didn't offer to warm my food or anything. One of the ladies in my party got green beans ,fried rice among other items. She got her some egg drop soup ..it has a black hair in it . Her green beans were cold as well the rice. And other items in her plate. My other friend couldn't eat here's at all. We can definitely tell the owner ( Sissy) is not there to other see her business. We have been noticing a decline since she's been away. No cakes put out , dirty table left . As we were paying the young man face the excuse that the windows were cold so the food got cold and said there was hot coming out in 10 minutes. First of all, cold windows have nothing to do with and we weren't about to stay and pay again . If the food is cold then that means the temperature in the steam table is not at the right temperature which can cause bacteria to grow . I noticed their rating was 95 . Another sign Sissy is not there. We received no apology no anything. I refused to pay when I've meal couldn't be eaten at all. I paid for 1 instead of 2 . Very disappointed. It will be a very long time before we go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm sorry. I really am. I wanted this place to be good. I went knowing that there were mixed reviews on a neighborhood app (mistake number 1). I'm an avid believer in supporting local businesses but... I'm not gonna lie...I cannot recommend this place. I wanted to order off the menu but the person who sat us down and took our drink order, well first of all seemed to be puzzled by "iced tea" so I just ordered a water, but then didn't give us any menus or direction. We just sat and waited a bit then asked and she motioned to go to buffet. We're not really ones overly excited for buffets - honestly I was feeling kinda bad for the owners cuz not too many people on a Friday night and was too embarrassed to just leave (mistake number 2). I'll save you all the details of a blown eating out experience but suffice it to say; the service was a cup of water, the food was old and barely warm, nothing enticing, and another guest we had visit our table was unwelcome - German, rhymes with rock coach. 43 dollars for 3, lesson for me. Note: I saw there was a menu when I checked out. And as far as the atmosphere, I mean, it's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeing burnt out on traditional holiday fare, we decided to snag Christmas Day lunch here, followed by a takeout order for a warm night inside. First, the service and food were very good, and the selection was varied and stayed freshly refilled. But what really surprised me, even more than the number of nontraditional family groups enjoying their holiday meal there, was that the manager seemed to know so many of the people there. And not just know who they were... she greeted them with hugs and names, and grinned her way through a hundred "Merry Christmas"es at least. I was highly impressed. Will definitely be stopping back by the Wok on my next trip...
