I walk in there's receipts on the floor because idk I guess the people who get paid to clean don't see it as their mess.... Then I go up to the counter I'm standing back for about four minutes to get my order all figured out in my head. When I finally got up to the counter to order I hear outta know I'll be with you in a few minutes. So after a few minutes I left to the conjoined convenience store for a little bit, and then went back. I FINALLY got my order in and wait for it to come up. While I'm waiting one of the lady's working asked does the shake have whipped cream... I shrugged... I don't know, does it I've never worked at an Arby's but it's in the picture in the menu. They put my Mac and cheese in the bag and then the brisket sandwich then sat that on the counter for six minutes to go cold while my stale fries sat on the stand waiting for my potato cakes and mozzarella sticks to cook but here's the thing.... THOSE WERE DONE ALREADY. why not just bag up all my stuff and hand it to me??? None of it makes sense except they don't care care about their level of customer service. And I'm sure they don't because the man at the counter asked would you like sweet BBQ sauce or spicy for your brisket sandwich which btw was all fat, I said sweet, because I don't like spicy food, then the same living dishwasher who asked about the whether or not there's whipped cream on shakes at their location, stacked two pickles atop each other in the middle of the bun of someone else's sandwich and I thought well I hope that's not indictive of what mine is gonna be like.... THEY didn't PUT EITHER SAUCE ON MY brisket sandwich... Then the other living dishwasher had the audacity to put all that in a bag and tell me to have a great day... Like bish you just ripped me off for 30 bucks. And I'm not the type to ask for a refund because the last time I did that I got the cops called on me. So my only option was to throw out what wasn't good and write this to...
Read moreFirst off I just wanted to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for being here. Arby's seems to be a dwindling chain among popular franchise fast food.
There was an Arby's in west Waukegan on Grand about 1/4mi east of Green Bay rd but they closed down had to be at least 8 years ago or so. There's a total of 5 locations in the entire Lake County as far west as Antioch and as far south as North Chicago.
I remember stumbling onto this location when driving south on the frontage rd from Pleasant Prairie a couple of years ago but when I Googled the hours, was listed as permanently closed so didn't bother with it.
A couple of months ago I decided to Google the location and whatta ya know, they're open and EARLY! I was so pleased knowing there's an Arby's location 8 miles and less than 15min away.
Truly Arby's has been my favorite fast food for easily the last 10 years. What makes this my favorite is the taste of their roast beef. Give me a half pound roast beef drenched in Arby's sauce with some fries whether curly or crinkle and a soda, I'm a happy man!
Normally if the service is below average, if the dining area isn't clean and/or prices are too high with mediocre food then I won't give a 5⭐️ rating. However, being I'm a die hard fan of the roast beef here, any Arby's will always get my highest rating.
I've never heard of any other fast food franchise that resembles Arby's menu and not aware of any limited chain in any state or region of the country that is considered competition. Arby's really is one-of-a-kind and I appreciate this taste more than a burger from the most popular...
Read moreI like to frequent this location on my lunch break and usually use the drive thru. The service is horrible. Many times I have approached the speaker and the worker will advise they will be right with me, then proceed to forget about me. The service is absolutely horrible at this location that I will driver further north and frequent another location. I've reached out to the store on multiple occasions, but nothing changes.
EDIT: I want to add that about a week ago I went through the drive thru and there was a very pleasant woman working who took my order promptly and everything went very smooth. Then yesterday 10/10/23 I went to the drive through and ordered a double roast been and a small crinkle fry at about 11:45am. The woman asked me to hold on a minute as she had to check something. She came back and said they only have enough roast beef for a classic sandwich! Arby's, who is known for their roast beef, only had enough for a small sandwich during lunchtime rush! She asked if I wanted that and I said no. If that is all they had I would have gotten all the shavings scraped off the slicer. I couldn't believe it. I don't know why I keep trying with...
