A friend and I found this hidden gem over 15 years ago and we are so glad we did! Since then I have brought many others here for dinner too. From the minute you walk in the door you feel like you have walked into an old friend’s home! Pete & Sue Neahous (the longtime owners) always greet us with a smile, a handshake and a welcoming hug. It's not uncommon to find other family members working behind the bar or serving tables too. This truly is a family business! The decor makes you feel like you have stepped back in time to a simpler era where cell phones and 24-hour news didn't exist. People are laughing, carrying on conversations and enjoying their cocktails and food. My boyfriend and I took my parents here for the first time (I can't believe I hadn't taken them in the past) last Friday. The minute we walked in the door my parents both said "we see why you like it here so much". Sue and Pete once again welcomed us! We ordered a few cocktails (the Old Fashioned is amazing) and our entrees. The place was packed, but like always our drinks and meals arrived without delay. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and their prices are very reasonable! My go-to is the Fantail Shrimp (they are huge) and the Fish Fry is delicious. In true "supper club" fashion a cup of soup and a salad accompany most meals on the menu. Needless to say, I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this place! Thanks again to Pete, Sue and the amazing staff for making my parents feel so welcome and for another delicious Village Supper Club experience!! You guys are the BEST and I am already looking forward to...
Read moreThe Village Supper Club is an excellent place to stop in for a wonderful meal and dining experience! As we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted at the bar. We had a drink at the art deco styled bar area. They have a nice selection of spirits available. The menu is diverse without being overwhelming. All of the apps we saw looked great! The pretzel was soft and delicious. Meals come with soup, salad, and choice of potato. The prime rib was delicious, and the crab legs were very sweet. The twice baked potato was also excellent. A nice selection of desserts are also offered. The wait staff was extremely attentive and very nice! Read moreHad dinner with friends on a Saturday night. We heard this place was small and it’s very small. Very quaint and cozy. Old Fashioned’s were great. We ordered dinner, soup and salad were very good. Also got a crusty baguette appetizer, very good. 1 buddy got the Salmon special that was very good. Another got the ribeye. It was delicious. Unfortunately I ordered the “Fish Fry.” It’s available everyday. When my dinner arrived I was immediately disappointed. The fish was a pre-battered frozen product. Absolutely NOT what I was expecting at a Wisconsin Supper Club. It was inedible. This needs to be removed from the menu. Fortunately the atmosphere, staff, service and rest of the meal was very good. Especially the service!! We will be back. Hopefully the fish...
