Cristy's Pizza Lancaster East — Restaurant in Pleasant Township

I am from the Southside of Chicago where we love and pride ourselves on deep dish pizza thats 2nd to none. However, Cristy's Pizza in Lancaster, Ohio has sets itself apart for me  with thier focus on fresh ingredients, a unique crust that is baked to a beautiful golden buttery brown with a perfect consistency of thick and doughy., Although it is in a class of its own I could described as being in the group of others that included a Sicilian or Detroit-style pizza. For our first visit we ordered a med size Goliath Pie with an extra 3 cheese blend and pepperoni that was as big asy hand. It was absolutely incredible, we were seated fast, the staff was so friendly, it was really clean, our order came out fast and the quality of all the above easily surpassed our expectations given the value of how little the charged for a freshly made product. Just to top it off they also offer gluten-free options, including a cauliflower crust and a thick gluten-free crust. This being only the tip of the iceberg though they have a very extensive menu with something for everyone. I know we will be visiting many more times to come and Christy's Pizza is a place we would recommend as a must visit for anyone I'm sure they will shot up to one of your top five-star...

July 3rd around 9:45 pm tried to order a simple small pizza and the women over the phone sounded as if she had no idea what she was doing and slurring her words and laughing.. I’ve always thought cristys was pretty decent reputable place but it’s clear the management at this establishment is either vacant or joining in on the fun of whatever drugs/drinking they were doing. I have no plenty of patience for slow/new workers but this was not the case it was obvious my order wasn’t being taking seriously with the laughing and slurring along with the fact I heard someone else telling her what to say… I don’t feel comfortable ordering a pizza from this place for my son me or anyone in my family. Maybe this was just a one night thing they were having too much fun or drinking on the job since it’s a holiday weekend but I expect a little more respect and professionalism for my money. Went to Cristys tonight after seeing taco pizza billboards dor the past week. The place was dead our waitress started off nice we told her we wanted the taco pizza and onions rings that in her words were "huge" and our our drinks, she brings us our drinks then the onion rings. After we ate the onion rings she came over and ask how they were I said they was ok and that's when the service turned kinda sour she was like well I guess everyone's taste are different. Imo there was a frozen onion ring. So she bring out the pizza and we take a few bites and well a taco pizza had hardly any neat on it and it tasted like they used a combination of tomato sauce and salsa for the base. Also they put the tomatoes on before they baked the pizza and warm mushy tomatoes are not very appealing. I felt the crust was to thick for a taco pizza add in warm tomatoes and no lettuce the taco pizza fell flat. She never asked what we thought of the pizza. Will we go back I doubt it. Would we...
