Loved my rib eye steak with sauted onions and mushrooms. The potatoes au gratin were a wonderful side addition to the meal. The fresh warm bread had great pepper seasoning. My gf ordered the cajun chicken alfredo which she was also very pleased with. So being a bit picky since the food is so great I wish the butter was warmed to make it spreadable on such soft bread and remembering that it's roadside dining the atmosphere is an interesting mix which not all may enjoy with higher class food. Very enjoyable experience overall.

First time in Harbor Springs and our desk clerk Stephanie at the Best Western recommended this place. THANK YOU STEPHANIE!! Have to say, best recommendation ever!! I had the North Atlantic Salmon, New Orleans style. I have had salmon alot and from many places but this is the absolute best dish I ever had. Our fantastic waitress Amy also recommended it. If you like salmon this is a must try restaurant and dish. Also, ask for Amy. Like I said, fantastic waitress.

Great meal. Close to Boine Highlands and Nubs Nob near Harbor Springs this is very casual fine dining.. We were seated immediately and thankful we ate early as it filled up quickly after we arrived. Definitely popular with the locals. Staff was friendly and prompt. Had pecan crusted walleye which was amazing, two people had filet that was very tender and cooked exactly to order.. Another had chicken piccata with audente angel hair pasta. All were delish.

I am very much a fan of Teddy Griffin’s Road House here in Harbor Springs, MI and I look forward to enjoying dinner there whenever I am in town as their food, atmosphere and especially their staff make every visit a very pleasant & enjoyable one!

However, during my latest stay in Harbor Springs, I was especially appreciative & grateful of my many meals at Teddys! Normally I’m only able to enjoy a week or two at a time ‘Up North’ but this time I’ve been in Harbor Springs for almost 3-months, which afforded me the opportunity to enjoy many evenings at Teddy’s.

Just after Thanksgiving, my girlfriend & I enjoyed a delicious meal in the dining room in front of the fire and our server JORDAN was friendly, professional, fun, knowledgeable & just made our dinner that much more enjoyable. We appreciated her recommendations, and she was attentive without being intrusive.

Many of my meals were at the Bar where ERIK, RITCHIE & MARK, who between them have been helping to make Teddy’s the great establishment that is for 20+ years, man the Bar. Even when the place is packed and they are working furiously to serve everyone at the bar & at the bar tables they are friendly, efficient, professional & attentive. They really know the menu and can offer recommendations based on what customers think they might like. When things are a bit slower & they have time, they are fun to talk with, have great stories and have great local knowledge to share about what to do and where to go.

I cannot recommend Teddy Griffin’s Road House highly enough! While they have a great menu, with lots of choices featuring the local fish like Perch & Whitefish … you will even find ‘frogs legs’ which have been a staple on the menu for years … all of which is served consistently delicious and the atmosphere is fun & relaxed…it’s the Staff, most of whom have been there for a long time, which keeps bringing back the locals & visitors over...

We were looking for somewhere fancier than a chain restaurant to spend on our vacation and came across Teddy Griffin's Casual Fine Dining Restaurant. The reviews seemed promising, and we were not afraid to spend a bit of money for what seemed like would be like a Ruth's Chris steakhouse.

We ordered appetizers, and they were enjoyable. My wife ordered fettucine alfredo with chicken, my son ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza, while I was tempted by the perch (recommended by waitress) and walleye. It was really busy in there, but it took almost two hours for us to receive our food.

Our waitress seemed to be covering too large an area, so while we were waiting with our drinks empty, we were thankful we at least ordered the appetizers. We ordered the loaded potato skins and bam bam shrimp, which were really good.

The chicken was dry, and the fish was pretty basic to taste. By the time we received our food, our child was nearing a meltdown and ended up "too hungry to eat" so he didn't enjoy the pizza at all.

We spent $180+ (before tip) and left feeling we wished we went somewhere else for how much we spent on two adults and a child. For a fraction of that we could have had a similar experience at a chain restaurant.

Due to our experience, we would be hard pressed to recommend...

My family and I had dinner there on Saturday evening. It was late so I am actually giving an extra star for service because we entered the establishment about 45 minutes prior to close (they close early on Saturday - I think 9 pm or 9:30). Where do I start? I went with two teen boys and my brother-in law. I had the Cajun Pasta (recommended by the server), my son had fish which he liked, sons friend had chicken parmesan and B.I.L had fish as well. My pasta and the kids pasta was so overcooked we couldn't really eat it at all. The chicken was good in both but the pasta was inedible. I left almost my entire plate because it was so bad. We had a couple of appetizers (bang shrimp/chicken wings) which were good. My son liked the Fish dinner my brother in-law had another fish (can't remember) but said it wasn't great. Our server was a nice enough young lady, she just wasn't around much. As mentioned, it was later in the evening and she was at a table rolling silverware or doing condiments so we were out of drinks etc. I would not go back. Our bill was about $220 for the 4 of us . It was quaint inside and probably has a nice view in...
