Uptowne Deli — Restaurant in Plumstead Township

These guys are open until 4:00 on Saturday. I arrived at 3:50 and was turned away by a guy not wearing a mask... so maybe I dodged the bullet there. I did complain to the manager who said It’s only a sandwich... why are you so mad? I guess customer service isn’t something they care about. I think we are all trying to support local businesses these days. It’s important! Truthfully you would have better success going to Wawa in Plumbsteadville. It’s a chain but they will be respectful of you and your support of their business. Capri Pizza is another option... more expensive but has far better fried mushrooms, superior menu and professional service. I have been loyal to this deli in the past. Not a great location so I will no longer make the effort. ...

Low effort food, which was surprising because of the positive reviews that made me order here. The reviews really hyped up the food, so I was excited to try. Didn’t get greeted when I walked in, barely was even acknowledged other than the fact that they had to give me my food. Inside looked kind of dirty and drab. The Buffalo wrap tasted like BBQ and was pretty bland…not even close to what reviews said. Cheese fries were soggy and dull, and had plopped just a small amount of wiz on top. Below average deli food all the way around. Cheese fries are soggy fries with a Dixie cup of whiz. The Rachel was just….I don’t know what to say other than average all the way around.

I wouldn’t come back if I lived in the area. Not being from here, I’ll never come back. And to the local patrons who rated this place 4.6 stars, are there really no better options in Doylestown? This is what you like?
