The Oxtail, Cajun Shrimp, Mac n cheese was pure indulgence, cornbread, ribs with each bite, giving way to juicy, tender meat seasoned to absolute perfection. The collard greens, slow-cooked with just the right amount of smoky, savory flavor that keeps you coming back for more.

This is that one of a kind excellent restaurant. Three generations, Mom, Grandma, and the Son, have this figured out. If you're on the way to the Outer Banks, plan to stop at Rosie's. I got the Cajun shrimp with collards and fried okra, and it was absolutely delicious. They asked how hot on the shrimp, and I said seven. They raised an eyebrow, so I said 5 or 6?. A few minutes later, he comes out with a single shrimp, basked in the Cajun spices. I asked him to kick it up one notch, and he did. Dinner came about 20 minutes later. One of the best meals I've ever had. The collards were leafs, with some very thinly sliced onion. The okra perfectly crunchy and tender in the middle. Cajun shrimp on a bed of rice. I took home Grandma's lemon pound cake. The real deal with an incredibly extensive menu. Stop on the way to Nags Head area. A hole in the wall...

The food was horrible.. No prices on the menu bulletin and no menus .. once you order and eat then comes the check. I got a BBQ plate with 2 side a teato eat in ( couldnt eat it , was looking and tasting 3days old ) a small portion of rice and beef tips to go for my lunch break at work that night, $38.98 What a RIP OFF..
