I have no issues with people of different race, as I come from a blended family. My children are also mixed. What I had an issue with, a Hispanic worker, that barely speaks English let alone creole in a Haitian/creole establishment. Iāve seen another Haitian restaurant do the same thing, and the crazy part about his, I have never witnessed a Hispanic or Latin establishment have a Haitian person working for them. We already have an issue within our community where Haitians to not stick together, and that ultimately has been our downfall. The owner didnāt strike me as too welcoming last time I went there, but the place was clean and the patties were good, so although the service wasnāt perfect, I would have continued to support.
