After a thrilling experience of flying through rough winds on our way here we thought we should go ahead and get something to eat. But my question is, would the fuel and time flying to Enrique's all the way from Tulsa be worth it? Well, there is only one way to find out. When we got here we were greeted by a host where she quickly found us a table and arranged for a waitress to come and help us out. I asked for water and went to take a tour on my way to the bathroom. The bathrooms were clean but as always the urinals in the men's bathroom have, and always will be a semi dirty area so no problem. Back at our table I asked for a Chile con Puerco lunch item served in a small bowl with rice and fried beans.. and corn tortillas. To my surprise the corn tortillas appeared hand made. The sauce and pork squares were amazing! Loved the tangy flavor along with some beans and put it all inside a beautiful corn tortilla. I guess the 50 buck of fuel and the 65 mile head wind we flew through were worth it! I only have one small observation: your menu is too much it's even hard to look at trying to decipher what it is that you sell. Pick your 20 most sell items and craft your menu around that. Make a page dedicated to your American options with clear options. Thank you for the good food and service! We hope to come by more often!

****We come here often from OKC on the way to 7 Clans so I’m just going to keep adding little tidbits and more pics to this same review.**** Check the hours before coming. This is somewhat in between TexMex and Mexican. They bring salsa……but you do have to PAY for chips. Chips are homemade and not like corn tortillas. I recommend you ask for CRISPY. Chips are like thin sopapillas and are soft and floppy. Queso is not free. In my opinion, I think it’s better to get an order of nachos (again, CRISPY) instead of paying for chips and queso. They do not have a traditional sour cream sauce for enchiladas which is always a strike in my book. They do not offer shredded beef. We’ve been here a few times and have seen planes come and go but not this time so it’s not guaranteed. You can see the runway from your table inside the restaurant. All in all this is just an okay restaurant with okay food. No wow factor or flavor. We tried these Dulce sopapillas this time and they are really good. And they had planes this time.

Our most favorite restaurant let us down tonight!! We had company drive 2 hours just to eat here. We were a fairly large party of 9. In the past they have pushed tables together to seat us, but not tonight. We watched parties of 4, that came in after us be seated for up to 30 min. After we arrived. We were signed in at 5:05 and told that it would be a30 min wait which is fine, but it ended up being a 55 min. wait. Finally seated and placed our drink orders to be told that some of the pop was out. Not a hard change. Then we placed our food order and they had to keep coming back and telling us that they had run out of several things and so some of us had to change our order. We watched as several tables that ordered after us received their food before us. Almost an hour later, after being seated, we received our food and some of the orders were really close to being cold!!?? We ordered 4 baskets of chips and they came out promptly and were great! I was told that with a coupon and the order of a meal that the chips would be free. I also had a coupon for a free desert with a meal and asked if we could get sopapillas with the coupon. We had done this before and we’re treated greatly!! But, we were told tonight that we could only have one per coupon. We only had one coupon and 9 people, who all ordered full dinners. So, I asked again and told the person that we were allowed to use the coupon for all dinners and was told that the person who allowed that often did things that he wasn’t supposed to do?? But the manager?? Said that she would allow it this time. Finished our meal and received our checks and were charged for chips after being told that they would be complimentary with the coupon and dinner. I reminded our server, who was very good and worked really hard for us, and she apologized and said that she would take the chips off. She took all of our checks and then came back and said that she was told that we could only have the chips or the sopapillas and not both?? We had been allowed to have both in the past!! Our server was excellent!! Our problems that we faced tonight were strictly managerial and I hope that it does not become common, but reading other reviews it seems to be a common trend of late!!?? I have given a 3 star review solely because of the hard working server that we had!! We really missed Rebecca and...

My wife and I are somewhat new to the area. We were very excited to try Enrique's. Unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. There were four tables open when we arrived, but we were told it would be a 15 minute wait before a table could be cleaned. about 20 minutes later, we were seated to a table that had not been fully cleared. Five minutes later, the server took our drink orders and then disappeared. I did find it disappointing that they did not even offer complimentary chips like every other Mexican restaurant I have ever been to does. We patiently waited for our drinks, all the while watching nine employees scurry about lacking any form of organization. After 12 minutes (timed) our server went to the table next to us, she totally ignored us . A decent server could at least provide a courteous update as to when our drinks may arrive. At this point, we were totally fed up and left. A short drive to their nearby competitor, we were seated immediately, given complimentary chips and had our drinks in under six minutes.

Needless to say, we found Enrique's Mexican Restaurant a disorganized disappointment and will not recommend or give any future business to. I can't critique their food as their customer service was so awful that we never got the...
