Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Ponca City

My office turns in a drink order up to 10 large drinks at least once a week but to the Sonic on South 14th. This time I had some business on the north side of town and opted to get drinks from the Sonic on 5th and Hartford. If I could leave a zero star review I would. I pressed the button and waited for 15 minutes to only have 4 other orders placed before mine but they arrived after me. My windows were down and I could hear them placing their orders so I know they were not app or call in pickups. The car that pulled into the stall next to me experienced the same wait and were very upset. They stopped the same carhop helping me to complain. Only 4 drinks out of 10 were correct. Only 3 drinks were marked but only 1 was correct. They only had 9 drinks upon the first delivery so one drink wasn't even made or delivered until I let the carhop know it was missing. I asked for cup carriers as I was by myself. I was not told up front that they were completely out of all carriers and large cups. The carhop had only one carrier for me and asked if I wanted to make 2 trips. After his 2nd trip inside to try to get the order correct he asked for my handwritten list I had. Regardless, after the 3rd trip back out I was tired of waiting and all the confusion. I did leave the carhop a tip because he was doing his best and none of this was his fault. The receipt had the correct drink order with the exception of the size on one drink, so someone preparing the order didn't bother to read the order and do their job. I will never return to this Sonic and if I'm on the north side of town I will drive out of my way to...

This one star review is for whoever owns or operates this location. ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME??? SERIOUSLY. Half the stalls buttons don't work, or they are missing the credit card reader!!! Fix your store!! You are losing out on 50% of your business when people have to keep backing out and trying the next stall, and so on and so forth!! Sonic needs to put cones in those spaces or have employees park their cars there so us paying customers don't have to play the "let's see which stall works today game!!" This place could be so much better!! Make it make sense!! I don't know if this is a franchise or corporate, but it's the most ghetto sonic I have ever been to!!!!!

However, the carhops are always super friendly and extra nice, even on the speaker, to your car, they do a great job! But the OWNER MUST FIX THIS PLACE or shut it down, it's that bad. There are 2 other better sonics to go to......soooo.....why go here? Get your stalls fixed so the store can make more money along with the car hops, it's not rocket science. Just ridiculous. I feel bad for the employees having to adjust their working routine bc management/GM/DM/RM will not fix these ongoing...

Worse Sonic in Ponca City by far. Waited an hour for 3 drinks. The screen said someone was coming out to deliver said drinks (20mins after arrival)...30mins after that, no one came. I pushed the red button incase they forgot. Then I was told in a rude remark "they were busy" which I can understand up to a point; but the rudeness and then having the display say someone is coming and they do not. Waited a full hour still nothing I left emptied handed. Got a refund from the site. GO TO THE SONIC ON SOUTH 14th! That is the best Sonic in Ponca hands down. Do not waste your time at Hartford the kids like to mess around instead of actually working...
