A favorite Locals Breakfast & Lunch place, cafeteria style. Inexpensive. Offers a great selection to choose from, great Puertoriquen food at it's best. Sancocho, we love their "pernil" roast pork, arroz con gandules, arroz con cebolla, pollo asado, they make the most delicious tender ribs I have ever eaten on the island, and sometimes pastelón, chuleta frita, yuca al ajillo, other specialties. Thay make friters and sandwiches to order, too. Air conditioned dine in seating available or eat outside. Has small parking or use off-street parking. Very busy at noon. The lunch selection is hand written on a blackboard inside, you have to go in to see the food selection and blackboard. Whatever is not on the blackboard is not at lunch special price, but is offered. Offers take out and does catering. Closes early afternoon, Not open evenings. Nicely decorated and nice clean place. Cafetería Ramos may look like a simple place, and that's because it is: you pick what you eat, you get full, you pay, you leave. But don't let that make you think it isn't good 👀

The food here tastes homemade, like it was made by a sweet grandmother. And just like eating at grandma's, the portions are BIG 👉🏾 👈🏾

Low prices too. You get a huge dish for a low price. And they don't charge extra for the "pegao'" crispy rice.

I honestly loved it and think that if you don't know where to have lunch, get your butt over here and enjoy a big lunch for a low price.

I went here as a tourist in Puerto Rico after visiting the tomb of Héctor Lavoe and the food did not disappoint. We got rice and beans with chicken and it was extremely flavorful. Also, the price just cannot be beat, and everybody in the restaurant was extremely friendly (even the other customers) which made it a great experience.
