Hey there! I'm a bit bummed to share that I've visited Ponce twice now, and unfortunately, they don't have flan, baby. I've been a loyal customer for years, and it's my absolute favorite spot, so it's really disappointing to hear that they don't serve it as often anymore. I spoke to a lovely staff member, and she mentioned that it's not as popular these days, which is hard to believe because it's one of their signature dishes, along with their delicious bread. La Imperial Bakery makes THE BEST pan de agua in Ponce! It’s crispy outside and soft and tender inside. The taste is well balanced and perfectly salted. Ensure to buy extra because you’ll want more. The mayorcas and donuts are also the best! El Pastelillo de guayaba are also very tasty, although the budin de pan is almost too sweet, not balanced and almost lacks texture.
