El Paraíso — Restaurant in Ponce

We went to eat at this restaurant (fonda), and my Japanese husband fell in love with the delicious mofongo relleno de pulpo. He’s eaten that before, but never this good. I tried their asopao de tres mariscos. 😍😍😍 every spoonful of that asopao was tasty. Not salty, not bland, just delicious. The servers were very friendly, (we were in a very large group). Food was served promptly in beautifully shaped dishes. I have been there twice after that. It’s the kind of place where you want to return to. Just yesterday we went back. I had the asopao de pollo, and my stomach was very happy. It’s was tasty and satisfying. I highly recommend this restaurant. They have a buzzer to get in and out. Located in a nice plaza. Este es un restaurante que frecuento cuando estoy en el área. Siempre salgo satisfecho. Hoy traje a mi familia, hermanos 15 y todos quedamos satisfecho. Los platos que pedimos fueron masitas de pollo empanada con arroz blanco y habichuelas costillas BBQ con tostones, biftec encebollado con tostones y asopao de camarones. Las costillas estaban bien suaves con buen sabor, el biftec encebollado estaba bien tierno y las masitas de pollos estaban buenas también. La sopa estaba recién hecha y parece que faltaba un poco más de sazón. Se los recomiendo.

This is a restaurant that I frequent when in the area. I am always ways satisfied. Today I brought my family of 15 and we were all satisfied. The dishes we ordered were breaded and fried chicken with white rice and beans, BBQ ribs with fried smashed plantains, beefsteak with onions and rices and beans, and shrimp soup. The ribs were very soft with good flavor, the steak with onions was very tender and the chicken were good too. The shrimp soup needed a bit more flavor. I recommend...

One of the best places near national university college. Portians are amazing and prices are affordable for all parties. Highly recommend for tourists and family's near the area. Servers are also highly attentive and take special attention to the table and food. Bi-language servers are available as well....
