Panadera Villa Del Carmen — Restaurant in Ponce

This was our favorite stop while staying in Ponce. We found this bakery very convenient to the Hilton hotel. It's only 5 minutes drive or 15 minutes walk. Good variety of sandwiches and pastries and they all taste great, and at very reasonable prices. The smaller sandwiches (Bocadillo) are not that small and are plenty enough for most folks. The larger sandwiches are twice the size and great to share. Even the simple ham, egg and cheese comes with your choice of fresh vegetables and lots of other add ones to make it much better than what you would get at fast food and for better price. The place is popular so sometimes there may be a little bit of a wait, but on the day we had to wait longer they have us...

I think Panadera is a very resourceful place in our community. It is a bakery that also sells delicious lunches, sandwiches and also includes a mini market.

I appreciate that the lunch menu is posted in their facebook page and also through a WhatsApp chat. Food can be pre-ordered by phone.

We went here about two weeks ago. I ordered the cubano sandwich. It was one of the best cubanos I've ever had. If you are nearby and want a great lunch at a decent price, stop in.
