Well, I read the reviews on here and had mixed feelings about trying this place. The comments about the place being not much to look at are very true and the place smells like stale paint. Other than that, the food was really good. I had the almond chicken. Instead of the typical brown gravy they had a light tan sauce. It was different than the usual places I go to, but it was a good different. The fried rice is ok, but the egg roll was great. My only issue about the food was the portion. I had the dinner combo. Most places I go to stack two rows of almond chicken. I was sad to only find a bed of vegetables. I like to eat half and save the rest for later. Can't say I'll be able to do that today.    Read more2 things.. the fried rice and hoonan chicken is pretty good.. although i would have liked a bit more chicken. I've tried the crab rangoon.. it wasn't the best.. the shell part wasnt crispy they just didn't taste fresh.. the almond chicken is ok my son like it.. it's just different than what I'm use to having their gravy is lighter in color..the look of the restaurant itself is not nice.. and i usually don't go there alone seeing it's in between a liquor store and beauty supply.. not so much the beauty supply that bothers people.. all in all its better if u go during lunch time...
