Wouldn't serve me. I walk up to the window of this ice cream stand and my car is literally the only one in the lot. Not a single customer other than myself here. The lady behind the plexi-glass window says I need to put a mask on before I place an order. Bear in mind I'm standing outside at the order window. Also, this is after the CDC says it's no longer required for fully vaccinated peeps, and the State of Michigan has lifted mask mandates. I said I was fully vaccinated and the lady said because they can't legally ask for someone to show proof of vaccination they required it for everyone, at which point I said I couldn't make a purchase, so I walked away. Wasn’t able to get everything I wanted due to it being cash only, I suggest they invest in a card system or have a sign so people know ahead of time vs waiting all day and not find out until approaching window. I was upset about being scolded about no mask as well. They have glass between them and customers. I mentioned to the lady I had my vaccination card and showed to her but she said it didn’t matter she couldn’t service without mask, I put on with no problem but I dnt think it was necessary and a better approach should’ve been given. The cost of two medium ice cream cones with a small amount of ice cream was almost $8. When I called to ask why the price was so high, a female employee, who probably earns less than the cost of the ice cream cones per hour, mentioned that there are two other ice cream shops at each end of the street. Unfortunately, the ice cream was of low quality and gave me an upset stomach. I will never patronize that old, rundown establishment again. I wish I could give less...
